INTERNATIONAL WEIGHT CLASSES:

Womens: 64kg / 73kg / 84kg / 84kg+ , Masters: LW -73kg, HW +73

Men: 80kg / 90kg / 105kg / 120kg / 120kg +, Masters: -105kg, +105kg

Weight Class for this competition is determined by teams TOTAL WEIGHT and in INTERNATIONAL WEIGHT CLASSES - SEE WEIGHT MATRIX FOR COMBINED WEIGHT LIMIT. Teammates must collectively be under the weight limit. For example: if a team is registered for the -180kg division, they are eligible even if one teammate is 99kg, and the other is 70kg (total weight = 179kg).

If competing at beasts of the bay on saturday, athlete's weigh in is valid for both competitions. Virtual and in person weigh ins will be held for this event as well.

THERE WILL BE REGIONAL EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE USA NEXT YEAR TO QUALIFY OTHER TEAMS TO COMPETE AT THE PRO LEVEL.

Max Double Deadlift

3 Attempts for a 1 Rep Max. Set weight jumps.

This event is eligible for newly set world, american, and state records. No records currently stand for any weight classes.

Open superheavyweight men record: 850kg

Open superheavyweight women world record: 505kg

To be contested on a kabuki PR Deadlift bar. SUITS ALLOWED

Format TBD - this will either be cumulative time for each individual pushing on their own, OR, hopefully, both athletes pushing together on a very heavy vehicle. I will get this information out as quickly as possible.

Log for Points

Teams will have 2 minutes to accumulate points on the log press. There will be two logs set out, one heavy, and one light. Heavy log is worth 5 points, light log is worth 2 points. Only one athlete may lift at a time, and repetitions must be alternated between the athletes, whether they are using light or heavy log.

Example: Athlete A begins with a successful rep on the heavy log. Athlete B must complete a successful rep on either log before Athlete A presses another rep. If Athlete B cannot complete a lift, only points for the first successful attempt from Athlete A will count.

Max Distance Sandbag Carry

2 Minutes, Max Distance sandbag carry between BOTH athletes, with 75' lengths. Once the Bag is off the ground, it can be passed between athletes ANY WAY YOU WANT, but CANNOT touch the ground. If bag slips or falls to the floor, the team's round is over, and distance will be marked.

Farmers Relay

Athletes, one at a time, Will complete a 75' down and back course WITH A TURN AROUND A CONE. Athlete A can start with hands on farmers handles, and must take ENTIRE IMPLEMENT across the line to complete the run. Athlete B will then get the handles and perform the exact same movement. Fastest Time wins. 90 second time limit, or distance measurement, if course incomplete. Unlimited drops, no straps allowed.

TIEBREAKER - There is a tiebreaker event planned, but i will not tell you what it is. It's using a piece (pieces?) of equipment in this show - do well enough and you won't have to find out.
