Log Clean and Press:

At the command of "Go" the athlete will clean and press the log as many times as possible in 1 minute. The rep is complete when the athlete demonstrates control with the log locked out overhead with both feet under hips, and hips and knees locked out. The athlete must wait for the "Down" command on every rep for the rep to count. The log must start from the pads on the ground on every rep and must end on the pads on the ground.

Allowed: Knee sleeves, elbow sleeves/wraps, grip shirt, belt, wrist wraps

Not allowed: Suits and briefs, tacky (including tacky towels and spray)

Deadlift Trump:

At the command of "Go" the athlete will choose between a Mammoth bar and an Axel bar and complete as many deadlifts as possible in 1 minute. The athlete must wait for the "Down" command on every lift for the lift to count. The athlete may switch bars 1 time during the event. The score for the event is reps achieved. The bars will weigh the same but any rep on the Axel bar will trump reps on the Mammoth bar.

Not Allowed: Suits and briefs, tacky (including tacky towels and spray)

Carry and Load:

At the command of "Go" the athlete will perform a Farmers' Carry (distance TBA). The athlete will then sprint back and carry an atlas stone and load it over the yoke. The height of the yoke will be the same for all women's divisions and will be the same for all men's divisions. Height is 44" for women and 52" for men.

Growing Yoke:

At the command of "Go" the athlete will carry the yoke at 25' intervals. At each interval staff will add weight to the yoke. The athlete will have 10 seconds from the time of the drop to repick and begin the next interval. When the athlete cannot complete an interval, the event is done. One drop is allowed during the event. Score for the event is distance covered.

Not Allowed: Suits and briefs, tacky (including tacky towels and spray)

Nationals 2026 Qualification Standards

Nationals bids will be awarded in Open classes based on the number of athletes in each class as follows:

1 athlete in a class: the promoter may merge the class with another class; if the athlete competes alone they will earn an invite by completing (i.e. not “zeroing”) all 4 events to the standards originally set forth by the promoter
2-4 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for Nationals
5-9 athletes in a class: 1st and 2nd place qualify for Nationals
10+ athletes in a class: 1st-3rd place qualify for Nationals
