Los Campeones Sioux Falls is excited to host the Frozen Feats of Strength! This is event is a great strongman competition for competitiors new to the sport.

Circus Dumbbell for Reps

-Athlete will begin with hands off the dumbbell. One minute time limit to perform as many reps as possible. Each rep must be cleaned and pressed. Arms can alternate or stay the same. Down command must be issued to confirm a lock out. Hand must be in contact with the implement as returns to starting position; deliberate dropping will result in disqualification. Novice women through Open women 198 will use a standard Rogue dumbell instead of a circus implement.

Max Axle Deadlift

-Athlete will have three attempts to deadlift the most weight as possible. Axle will start at 115 lbs and will go up 10 lbs incrementally; lifters will be allowed to jump in as their weight is loaded. Weight will not be removed once it is on the axle. Athlete will have one minute once bar is loaded to lift the axle. Sleeves, straps, chalk, belt, baby powder briefs and suits are all allowed.

Husafel Stone Carry For Max Distance

-Athletes will carry a loaded husafel stone for as far as they can. Distance is recorded once any part of the implement touches the ground. Sleeves, grip shirt, chalk, and belt are all allowed.

Yoke Walk

-The yoke will start behind the line and need to completely finish over the line to be considered complete. The distance is twenty five feet down and back. Two second penalty for sliding or early start. Multiple drops and picks are allowed. Soft and hard belts, knee and elbow sleeves are allowed. One minute to complete, the fastest time wins. If unable to complete the full distance in one minute, distance will be measured from the start line. Sleeves, chalk and belts are allowed.

Stone over Bar

-60-second time limit. Athlete must start with hands on crossbar. Stone must completely cross over the bar with hands off to count the rep. Athlete may not use the crossbar or uprights for leverage to move stone over the bar. There will be a catcher feeding the stone back to the athlete. If the stone is thrown at the catcher in an uncontrolled manner, the catcher will ensure their own safety. Thus, if the stone rolls away, that still counts against the athlete's time. Stone sleeves, tacky, tape, grip shirt, soft belt, hard belt, and knee sleeves are allowed.

Bar Height: approximately 48 inches

In the even of a tie, athletes will face off in a bar hang competition for time.

Weigh-ins will occur at Los Campeones Sioux Falls on February 21; athletes can come by anytime 8:00 am-8:00 pm for weigh-ins.
