3rd Annual Green River Sports Festival Strongman.

Sanctioned by USS this year. Current USS membership will be required by competition day.

No tacky. Chalk only. Grip Shirts ok, otherwise competition shirt. (No SC grip shirts.)

Referee has final say on all lifts.

Weights subject to change within 1 month of the event.

EVENT 1 - Axle Clean and Press

Clean axle once and press away. Must wait for down command from referee or rep will not count. 1 minute time cap. Equipment allowed - Belt, grip shirt, chalk, knee and elbow sleeves.

EVENT 2 - Tire Flip

Flip all tires in fastest time. Athlete will begin standing next to first tire but not touching it. Only full flips will count with time stopping when tire lands on other side. Time splits will be taken for heaviest tire flipped. 1 minute time cap. Equipment allowed - Belt, gloves, chalk, knee and elbow sleeves.

EVENT 3 - Sandbag Throw for Distance

Each athlete will throw 3 sandbags for max combined distance. There is a 1 minute time cap for all 3 bags. Athletes may retrieve and re-throw any bag, but all bags must be resting on the ground when time expires. A mark will be placed on the ground near the sandbag origin, distance for each bag will be measured from that mark to the closest point on the body of the bag. (The handle of the bag is NOT considered part of the body.) Athlete's feet must stay behind throwing line until bag is released. Equipment allowed - Belt, gloves, chalk, knee and elbow sleeves.

EVENT 4 - Trap Bar Max Deadlift

Perform a max deadlift from the high handles on the supplied trap bar. Wessels rule. Rising bar, jump in at any time. 3 attempts. Miss an attempt and you are out. 1 minute time limit per attempt. Ties will split points. Athlete may use sumo if they can figure out how to do it! No briefs or deadlift suits. Equipment allowed - Belt, any style straps, chalk, knee and elbow sleeves.

EVENT 5 - Yoke/Sled Medley

Athlete will carry yoke 25 feet, set it down and return. Athlete will then drag sled with rope 25 feet and return for 100 foot total distance. Athlete will start under yoke at their pick height. 1 minute time limit. Completed distance will be marked if course not completed. Equipment allowed - Belt, gloves, chalk, knee and elbow sleeves.
