UnicornStrongllc and IronbodyFitness are excited to throw a true NOVICE contest! If you've competed as a Strongman/Strongwoman in any sanctioned or unsanctioned event, this is not the competition for you. We are hosting this contest to give people a great experience with the sport as first-timers! Absolutely come out and support the newbies, help us grow the sport here in the Treasure Valley by getting more people involved.

No weigh-ins will be held for this contest.

This is a MAX contest, Rising Bar Format. You will have 3 attempts, as the weight moves up, to see what you can do!

Log Clean and Press

Grip Shirts, Elbow Sleeves, Knee Sleeves, Belts, and Wrist Wraps allowed
No Tacky or Grip Aids allowed
ABSOLUTLEY NO Tree-topping, Dropping the Log from above your head, is allowed. You will not receive points for the lift if done
Log will begin empty at 85lbs and make 20lb jumps
60 second time limit per attempt

Axle Bar Tire Deadlift

Elbow Sleeves, Knee Sleeves, Wrist Wraps, Lifting Straps, Belts, and Deadlift Suits allowed
No Tacky allowed
The Axle will begin at 115lbs and make 20lb jumps
60 second time limit per attempt

Yoke Walk 25'

Grip Shirts, Elbow Sleeves, Knee Sleeves, Belts, and Wrist Wraps allowed
No Tacky
Yoke will begin at empty at 140lbs and make an initial two 90lb jumps--putting it at 320lbs-- followed by 50lb jumps
60 second time limit per attempt

CONTEST STARTS AT 10:00, Rules Meeting at 09:30

Contest will be held outside, so please bring seating and shade as necessary.
