Event 1: Axle Clean and Press - Rules From the USS National Standards

Max Axle C & P - 60 second time limit per attempt.

3 attempts with Wessels Rule.

YOU MAY REST ON BELT

May not launch from belt to rack position.

Feet parallel, knees and elbows locked, head through. No tacky.*

Event 2: Standard Height Deadlift - Rules From The USS National Standards

60 second time limit per attempt.

3 attempts. Wessels Rule applies.

Straps and suits allowed.

No sumo.

Hitching allowed. Hips and knees locked.

Down command from the judge.*

Each competitor will give an opening attempt at weigh-ins. Competitors will have three total attempts to lift in both log and deadlift. Powerlifting style competition will be enforced. Competitors will have 60 seconds from the time their name is called to complete the lift.

You MUST BE a current USS Strongman Member to Compete

Registration for USS Membership can be completed in the

Iron Podium registration or on the USS Website.

Each competitor must register and pay their registration fee on

IRON PODIUM

Weigh-In at PRIMAL Strength and Fitness: Weigh in times are exact.

***Don't Worry...you can weigh in the morning of the show***

Morning: 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Evening: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

11:00am - Show up, Weigh-in (if needed) and be ready for attendance.

11:15am - Rules briefing & warm-ups for first flight

11:30am - First Flight Begins

Each flight will be given warm-up time

Adult Spectators: $10, Teens: $5, children of competitors and children under 12 are free.
