Event Details

Deadlift -- Axel deadlift bar and calibrated kilo plates will be used for all competitors. Each athlete will be given three attempts to complete a good lift. A deadlift is only considered good once the competitor has been given a down command and lowers the bar to the floor in a controlled manner. Athletes will have 60 seconds on the platform to begin the lift. This event will be ran "rising bar" style. The bar will only move up in weight. If you fail an attempt, the bar continues to raise and you will be eliminated from this event. (belt, chalk, and straps allowed -- no deadlift suits, no tacky, no sleeves, no wraps)

Stone Carry -- Stone carry for distance. Each competitor will have an opportunity to chest carry their stone for a maximum distance. Once the stone is dropped the attempt is complete. Furthest distance wins.

Viking Press -- Each athlete will be given three attempts to complete a good lift. A press is only considered good once the competitor has been given a down command. Athletes will have 60 seconds on the platform to begin the lift. This event will be ran "rising bar" style. The weight will only move up in weight. If you fail an attempt, the weight continues to raise, and you will be eliminated from this event. (wraps, sleeves, belt, chalk, grip shirts allowed -- no tacky)

Weight toss will be rising bar. Highest toss wins. Each athlete will be given 60 seconds for three tosses on three attempts to make their highest toss. The bar will only move up. If you fail to make a good toss on one of your three tosses you are eliminated from this event. (chalk and belt allowed -- no tacky)

Hercules Hold- Athletes will assume a starting position with both handles in hand. Time will start when the safety catches drop and the weight is in the hand of the individual. On this setup, the athlete will be able to "rock" the pillars off of the catches. Allowed gear- chalk, belt, wraps, sleeves (no straps, no tacky)
