Event 1: Last Standing Circus Dumbbell Press

Equipment Allowed: NO TACKY/NO BABY POWDER

Time Limit :60 Seconds

Rules: Competitors may stand on the platform before given the start command. Upon being given the start command or whistle, competitors will clean and press the circus dumbbell to a full upright and locked out position. When the elbow is straight and the other arm is free, the competitor will be given a down command. Competitors are not allowed to drop or tree top the dumbbell from overhead. Dropping or tree-topping and failure to maintain control of the dumbbell will result in a “no rep” Upon being given the verbal “DOWN” command from the judge, the competitor will lower the dumbbell to the platform in a reasonably controlled fashion. All Women's Divisions will increase at 10 pound increments (5 pound plate per side). Men's Divisions will increase by 20 pound increments (10 pound plates per size).

Event 2: Beer Keg Throw over Bar

Time Limit :60 Seconds

Three kegs will be set up on a line. Competitors will be allowed to "take your grip" when getting set. Once the start whistle is given, competitors will have 60 seconds to toss their respective kegs over the 13-15 foot bar. If a keg does not clear over the bar, competitors may keep attempting until time is called.

Event 3: UTV Deadlift

Time Limit :60 Seconds

Competitors may take their position inside the frame. When given the start whistle, competitors will strap in and begin lifting. A down command will be given when knees, hips and shoulders are locked out and in control. Once the competitor receives the down command, lower the bar to touch the ground and begin the next rep. There will NOT be a lift command. Competitors will continue in this sequence until 60 seconds has expired.

Event 4: Natural Stump Carry Medley

Time Limit :60 Seconds

Competitors will be allowed to have "hands on" the first stump in the medley. When given the start whistle, competitors will pick up and carry one stump at a time across a 30 foot line. The entire stump must cross the line before the competitor can run back and carry stump 2 and stump 3. Once all three stumps have crossed the finish line, time will be called. Fastest finish wins!

Time Limit :60 Seconds

Competitors will be allowed to start with hands on the log. When given the start whistle, competitors will lift and flip a log 180 degrees. Once the log lands, the competitor will run to the other side to flip it back. This sequence will continue for 60 seconds for repetitions.

Causes for Disqualification in Any Event at Any Time:

USS Athletes shall:

1. Respect other athletes, staff and volunteers - There is no tolerance for violence or disrespect

between USS athletes or towards USS staff (either in person or on-line). Respect includes

accepting rules and outcomes of contests, listening to each other’s opinions and comments, no

discrimination, bullying or stereotyping of other athletes.

2. Respect the equipment and venues – All contests are hosted in facilities or outdoor locations;

there will be no tolerance for damaging venues or equipment used at contests.

3. Not discriminate against any individual or group on the basis of race, color, religion, gender,

national origin, age, or other protected characteristic, while at a USS event.

4. Not engage in harassment* (in person or online) by making unwelcome advances or remarks

where such would create an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
