Masters Single class is for Masters Novice athletes please encourage your masters gym partners who have never competed before sign in!!

Day of Weigh ins 8:30 am to noon

**weights are subject to change up to the day of the comp; I will always try to keep it within 5 to 10 lbs variation**

1st Event - 40 ft Yoke Run - time or distant in ft

This event will be outside, first thing in the morning to beat the heat

The athlete will begin under the yoke with both yoke skids in contact with the ground. On the START command, the athlete will pick up the yoke and carry it 40 ft. Front part of the yoke must cross the line. Unlimited drops. Score will be the time it takes the athlete to carry the yoke across the finish line. If an athlete is unable to complete the course, the total distance will count as the score. A three second time penalty will be assessed if an athlete slides the yoke before acrossing the finish line.

Allowed: Soft and hard belt, knee and elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, chalk, grip shirt

Not allowed: elbow/knee wraps, tacky or tacky towel / chalk, or suits

2nd Event - Log Clean and Press -

12" for men, 10" for women. 60 second time for reps. Each rep will be cleaned from either the ground, pads, or the athletes knees. Feet parallel, knees and elbows locked, head through to receive down command.

Allowed: Wrist wraps, elbow and knee sleeves, grip shirt, hard and/or soft belt

Not allwed: built up belts, elbow and knee wraps, tacky, briefs

3rd Event - Frame Deadlift

60 second time for reps. Must wait for down command in order to count.

Allowed: Suits, Briefs, soft and or hard belt, wrist wraps, knee sleeves, chalk, hitching

Not allowed: built up belts, baby powder,

4th Event - Sandbag over Yoke - 60 seconds for reps

Athlete can start with hands on the bag, load over yoke, and repeat. Yoke height will be set at the athlete's sternum. Can use yoke to pull bag over. Please turn your belt to the back so the buckle doesnt catch the sandbag and possibly make a hole.

Allowed: Soft and / or hard belt, knee and elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, chalk, grip shirt,

Not Allowed: tacky of any kind towel, tacky chalk, spray etc.. double belt,

5th Event - Texas Husafel Hold - max time hold

The husafel will be on a box. Athlete can start with hands on the hussy. On start command pick up and hold for max time, time stops when the hussy falls or placed back on the box.

Allowed: Wrist wraps, elbow and knee sleeves, grip shirt, hard and/or soft belt, chalk

Not allowed: built up belts, elbow and knee wraps, tacky or tacky chalk, briefs
