Rules and Events

Weigh Ins/Athlete Check In:

EVERYONE MUST check-in on the day of competition. Weigh ins will be available the day before at the Venue Location. Athletes who do not make weight will be allowed to compete in the weight class above.

You could register after above listed deadline, with no guarantee that you will receive a complimentary shirt.

All tickets will be sold at door

Entry will be at door 10$

Qualifying for Nationals:

If there is 1 athlete in a class, they will get combined with another class or just get a regionals bid.

If there are 2-5 athletes in a class:

1st place - Qualifies for Nationals (2025) and Regionals (2025)
2nd - Qualifies for Regionals (2025)
3rd - Qualifies for Regionals (2025)

If there are 6+ athletes in a class:

1st - qualifies for Nationals (2025) and Regionals (2025)
2nd - qualifies for Nationals (2025) and Regionals (2025)
3rd - qualifies for Regionals (2025)
4th - qualifies for Regionals (2025)

Events and Rules:

Note all events are subject to change**

Event 1. Deadlift for Reps

Athletes will strap in on their time, they will have one minute to perform the maximum amount of reps with their weight. Touch and go allowed, must wait for judges down command.

Not allowed: suits, tacky, hooks, baby oil, sumo, deadlift jerk

Allowed: briefs, straps, figure 8 straps, sleeves, belt, softbelt, chalk etc.

Events 2. Yoke into Keg Medley

Athletes will run a yoke 25ft and then run back to the starting point to pick and load kegs over the yoke, time ends when the last keg is over yoke and hands are free from it. If medley is not completed it will be ran off the time of either the first keg or the yoke being finished.

Not allowed: tacky, grip shirts

Event 3. Max Log Press

Athletes will have three attempts to clean and press a max log, 12 inch for men, 10 inch for women.

allowed : belts, sleeves, wrist wraps, chalk, grip shirts.

Not allowed: tacky, double sleeves.

Event 4. Incline Frame Carry

Athletes will run a frame up an incline ramp. If athlete is unable to complete distance the distance will be taken. Athlete is allowed to start with hands on frame.

Allowed: belts, wrist wraps, chalk.

Not allowed: straps, tacky, hooks.

Event 5. Max Atlas Stone

Athletes will have 3 attempts to max their atlas stone by loading the stone over a bar.. Men will load to 52 inches, women will load to a 48 inch bar. You are allowed to be shirtless.

Allowed: tacky, belts, briefs, wrist wraps, chalk.

Not Allowed: grip shirts.
