The Psychotic Strength Warrior Expo Presents:

Terra Forma (USS Sanctioned Strongman)

This is 1 of 4 completely Different Sanctioned Events at the Warrior Expo.

Full Expo Schedule:

8/9/2025 Will be: 8am-1pm Strongman (Terra Forma), 1:30-7pm Buhurt (Medieval Suits of armor battles)

8/10/2025 Will be: 8am-1 Powerlifting Meet, 1:30-7pm Highlander Games

You can compete in 1,2,3, or even all 4 events. Each has their own League and you need to be apart of each league to compete in that event.

There will be around 30 vendors food and entertainment for both days. Think Ren Faire meets strength and combat sports.

Weigh ins:

8/8/2025 (Friday before) 2pm to 6pm Hardcore Barbell (1417 NE 76th St B, Vancouver, WA 98665) or 8/9/2025 (Day of) 6am to 7:30am At Donald Farm (424 Whalen Rd, Woodland, WA 98674)

Athlete Check-in:

Must be checked in and weighed no later than 7:30am 8/9/2025

Entry is $30 for the day or $50 for both days. Under 12 gets in free. $5 off preorder of the 2-day pass. Athlete receives day pass for themselves on day of their competition.

Qualifying for Nationals:

Novice: 1st place will get a nationals invite

Open and Masters: 1-3 place will get a nationals invite

PRO Class: As long as there are 6 or more athletes in the PRO class (and show up) the PRO class can happen which will entail a cash prize for 1st and "pro status" to the winner of the class as well as an invite to a USS Pro International comp. Minimum of 6 must show up to the comp to make this work. If 12 show up, the top 2 athletes get "pro status" and the USS Pro International comp invite, 18+ athletes sign up in the PRO class, the top 3 get "pro status" and invites to USS Pro International Comp along with an invite to Nationals.

For all events:

Grip shirts are allowed if not wearing grip shirt contest shirt must be worn (please no Strongman Corp grip shirts)
Belts, straps, sleeves, and chalk are allowed Gloves allowed on Log Press, Husafell, The TTT Log only
No Tacky or substitutes will be allowed in any event.
No lifting suits on any event Briefs are fine

Event 1: Westport Log Press

Reps

Time Limit: 60 seconds

Log will start on hay bales at or below chest level Hands on edge of hay bales. Ref will say “Go”; at that time, you have 60 seconds to get as many reps as possible. These are real logs finding center and pressing is up to you it will not be marked. Once locked out you will get a down command DO NOT TREE TOP THESE LOGS. If you do or break them due to misuse you will 0 the event. Bring the log controlled either to your chest or to hay bales and go again. Down commands are all that will be given after the first attempt. Hay bales are standard size and will be stacked 2 or 3 high depending on your height.

Event 2: Husafell Natural Stone

Distance/Time

Time Limit: 60 seconds

Pick up Stone (stone must be above knee for distance to count. No inching or scooting.) walk to and around hay bale (50 ft) and back. Fastest time or furthest distance wins.

Items Allowed: Chalk, Wrist Wraps, Knee Sleeves, Knee Wraps, Belts, Gloves

Not allowed: Any Suits

Event 3: Ocean Shores Grenade Grip Lever Log

Reps

Time Limit: 60 seconds

This is a Ukrainian Style Log Lever Deadlift. Stand on hay bales log will be in between your legs. Handles will be a Grenade Grip attached to a chain. Grenade Grips will be a foot level. Start with Grips in hand. Hands can be facing either way (Up or down) but no chain over hand or touching hand either direction. Ref will say “Lift” and you will reach down and grab the Grenade Grips at your weight class spot. Ukrainian deadlift it up and wait to get a down signal. This is for reps in 60 seconds.

Items Allowed: Belts, Sleeves, Chalk, Briefs, Wrist Wraps

Not Allowed: Deadlift suits, No straps

Event 4: Sysiphus Maze

Time/Distance

Ever Get told you need to roll a huge boulder through a maze and up a mountain? Well now you do. We have a giant loadable boulder that we are having you push as fast as possible in a U shaped (15ft to 10ft to 15ft) pattern 1 way and up a Giant (very small) Hill. Fastest Time wins or we will record distance on the inside of the U. Did we say it's loaded with SAND? It is, good luck.

Items Allowed: Belts, Sleeves, Chalk, Gloves, Cleats.

Not Allowed: Tacky.

Event 5: TTT Log (Townsend Timber Tilt)

Fastest Time

Time Limit: 60 seconds

Log will be started a little below shoulder height. Load Log onto one shoulder hands wrapped around log. The objective is to get the back part of the log above your head using your body as the lever. As the weight is raised because of weight class, we will be moving you further forward on the log therefore taking away your ability to lever and having you pick up more of the log. (The closer to center of the log the easier the lift.)

Items Allowed: Belts, Chalk, Gloves, Grip shirt.

People recording points are not to be asked questions or bothered. If you or even a person you are with speaks to or harasses the score keepers you will zero the event in question. There will be 1 warning at the rules meeting and not another. They are putting in points based on what the judges tell them to. Speak to the judge you had for the event in transitions to next event if you have an issue. Video evidence is the easiest way to handle a situation. In the end unless evidence is brought forth the judges have final say.
