Athlete meeting will be held at 9:30 and lifting will start at 10:00

Strongman Corporation membership is required for all competitors and can be purchased online at https://strongmancorporation.com/memberships/. Please note that USS and Strongman Corporation are not the same, and you will need a Strongman Corporation membership for this competition.

Nationals bids will be awarded based on the number of athletes in each class. In Masters classes, the top 3 athletes qualify for Masters Nationals. Masters also qualify for Masters Nationals by placing in the top 5 of an Open class. Open classes qualify for Nationals as follows:
- 1 athlete in a class: the promoter may merge the class with another class; if the athlete competes alone they will earn an invite by completing (i.e. not “zeroing”) at least 4 of the 5 events to the standards originally set forth by the promoter.
- 2-4 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for Nationals
- 5-9 athletes in a class: 1st and 2nd place qualify for Nationals
- 10+ athletes in a class: 1st-3rd place qualify for Nationals

Weigh-ins will be conducted in kilograms and there is no "allowance" for clothing. For example, an athlete in the 73kg class must weigh in at 73.0kg or less. Athletes must weigh in wearing (minimally) a bra and underwear.

Max Axle Clean and Press

Rising Bar

Athletes will have three attempts to find their max. Once an athlete misses, they are out. Bar will raise in weight only, so lifts will happen in order of weight on the bar. Bar will increase by 10 pound jumps.

The athlete must clean the axle to their shoulders and then press it overhead.

The lift is successful if the athlete locks out the axle overhead with arms fully extended and stands upright, and receives the down command from the judge. If the axle drops or is not controlled, the lift will not count.

Athletes have 30 seconds to complete each lift.

Truck Pull

A truck or vehicle will be used, with the weight announced prior to the event.

Athletes must pull the truck 50 feet using a harness and rope.

The fastest time to complete the distance wins. If the athlete does not complete the distance within 60 seconds, they will receive a score based on distance pulled.

Yoke

Athletes must lift the yoke from the ground and walk 50 feet while maintaining control.

The fastest time to complete the distance wins. Sliding will incur 10 second time penalty, 1 drops allowed.

Deadlift Medley (Texas Deadlift Bar, Trap Bar, Silver Dollar Deadlift, Car Deadlift)

90 second time limit.
Athlete will start standing behind the first barbell. On the start command of the judge, the athlete will strap into the barbell (if using straps) and begin pulling. Judges will be giving only a Down command on the first three deadlifts in the ladder. The final deadlift in the ladder does require an Up and up-and-down command. No touch-and-go reps. Judges are looking for the final deadlift implement to rest completely on the floor before giving the up command. Athletes will only be given a down command when a good rep is completed. Athletes must be completely locked out with minimal swing before being given the Down command. Judges are looking for shoulders back, hips through, knees locked. If the bar is dropped before the down command, no rep will be given. The athletes can attempt an additional rep but will require an additional Up command. If the bar is lifted before the up command, no rep will be given. Hands must remain closed on the bar at all times. No finger-tipping the bar while using straps. Deliberately dropping the barbell from the top will result in a ZERO for the event. Please respect the equipment. This event will be run using the following deadlift variations.

1. Texas Deadlift Bar (1 rep) - Standard 9" Bar Height. Athletes must complete one successful rep before moving on to the next deadlift.

2. Trap Bar (1 rep) - Handles are at a 14" Bar Height. Athletes must complete one successful rep before moving on to the next deadlift.

3. Silver Dollar Deadlift on Cerberus Deadlift Bar (1 rep) - The Silver Dollar Deadlift Attachments place the Bar Height at 18". Athletes must complete one successful rep before moving on to the next deadlift.

4. Car deadlift on custom car deadlift frame. Car TBD. Athletes will complete as many successful reps as possible for the remaining time.

Sandbag Over Bar

Valkyrie Sandbags will be provided, and the height of the bar will be set prior to the event.

Athletes must lift each sandbag and carry 30 feet and lift it over the bar, starting with the lightest of three bags and finishing with the last.

Each successful load counts as a point, if a run is not completed, the distance will be measured.
