Location

This year's Pro International will be at the Legion Sports Fest in Reno Nevada! While we compete on Sunday, I encourage all the athletes to check out the expo on Saturday. There's plenty of sports to watch and booths to visit.

Contest Hotel

The Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is located at 3800 S Virginia St, Reno, NV, 89502. Not only is it right next to the convention center, it has a bridge connecting the hotel to the expo so no driving required! There's plenty of great restaurants and a buffet inside for you all to load up before the comp!

Prizes

Some of the strongest men and women in America will compete for cash prizes and the gold United States Strongman Pro Card! Cash prizes TBD.

Check-Ins

Check-ins will be Friday September, 27th at American Iron Gym (650 S Rock Blvd, Reno, NV, 89502). Morning check-ins are from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and afternoon check-ins are from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Check-ins are required to get a wristband to get into the expo. All athletes must have a United States Strongman membership.

EVENTS

Max Wagon Wheel Deadlift

Conventional deadlift with a power bar and wagon wheels. Wagon wheels will have the bar 13 inches off the ground. Conventional stance only. The starting weights for each class are listed on the weight chart below. We will make jumps with 25 pound then 45 pound plates. Athletes have 3 attempts. Good rep = knees/hips locked out, shoulders back, and chest proud. Straps, belts, sleeves, and suits are allowed.

Axle Press

Clean and press for max reps, athletes have a 60-second time limit. Every rep must be cleaned from the ground. Athletes must get a down signal before dropping the axle and starting the next rep. Good rep = knees, hips, shoulders, and elbows locked out and head through looking at the judge. Belts, sleeves, grip shirt, and wrist wraps are allowed.

Keg Carry

Athletes will have 2 kegs to carry 50 feet and load over a belly-height bar. 60-second time limit. If athlete doesn't finish in the time limit they will be scored on distance. Athletes must start with the lighter keg. Belts, sleeves, and grip shirt are allowed.

Super Yoke

Athletes will carry a heavy yoke 35 feet. 60-second time limit. If athlete doesn't finish in the time limit they will be scored on distance. Belts, sleeves, and grip shirt are allowed.

Stone Over Bar

Athletes will load a stone over a chest-height bar for as many reps as possible. 60-second time limit. Spotters will roll the stone back to the athlete between reps. Belts, sleeves, grip shirt, and tacky are allowed.
