Deviant Strength and Equal Parts are excited to host the 1st annual Segundo Showdown!

Equal Parts Brewing 3118 Harrisburg Blvd, Houston, TX 77003

This will be an outdoors event at a brewery so feel free to stick around and drink after. There will also be food trucks and vendors available that day.

Prizes:

1st, 2nd and 3rd places will receive medals per weight class. Weight classes will be combined if there are not enough in one. 

Cash Prize will be given to best overall male and female athletes. This will be determined by BW to weight lifted for max deadlift and placement of finish in your respective weight class. The amount will be updated as we get more donations from sponsors but the minimum is $250 per person. Must be in the open class to win cash.

Each competitor will receive a T shirt. More will be available for purchase the day of the meet.

Events:

Keg Clean & Press - Athlete must start with hands off the keg. 1 min time limit to get as many reps as possible.

Yoke Keg and Sandbag Medley - Athlete must start with hands on yoke then take the yoke 50' followed by 2 kegs that must clear the upright.

Sand Bag Throw - Athlete must start with hand on the upright. There will be 3 total bags that you have to get over a 15ft crossbeam. 1 min time limit.

Max Deadlift - Ladder style with 3 attempts total. We will only go up in weight once every one who would like to attempt the weight has. 20lb jumps in weight.
