2024 War for The Sword Strongman by Battle Ready Gear is being held in conjunction with the longstanding powerlifting meet. Swords for first place division winners. T-shirts for participation.  There will be one very cool Sword given to Best Lifter.  

There is only one division per gender in the teen and master's categories. I entered bodyweight for each to make the events fair but you will still go head-to-head. 

Weigh Ins-9am at the venue

ELITE FITNESS AND PERSONAL TRAINING PRESS MEDLEY Circus Dumbbell, Battle Ready AXLE Bar, 12-inch log. Clean and Press each once. Fastest time wins. Splits taken. 60 second limit

AXLE WAGON WHEEL DEADLIFT  max lift. Wessel rules. Straps and suit allowed. No sumo. 

KEG RUN  3 Keg carry 50 ft each.  90 second limit.  

FARMERS HOLD Hold a farmers implement in each hand for max time. No straps.  No resting the implement on your body. 

SANDBAG OVER BAR Most reps in 60 seconds. No tacky. 

This event will be indoors in a gym on hardwood floors. The floors will most likely be protected by wrestling mats. Plan your training accordingly as some shoes may grip better.
