This is a United States Strongman event  The top 3 in each open weight class will qualify for the United States Strongman National Championships.  The top finished in each Novice class will also qualify for Nationals.

RULES:

Axle clean and press:  Athlete will have 3 attempts go complete the heaviest axle clean and press overhead.  Miss 1 time and you are out.  Athlete may jump in when they like.  Athlete can press any way they like (push press, jerk, split jerk).  Elbow, knee sleeves, wrist wraps allowed, belts allowed.  Grip shirts allowed, may not rest on the belt, but a touch and go is fine.  THIS IS A NATIONAL RECORD BREAKING EVENT!

Deadlift:  Athlete will have 3 attempts to complete the heaviest deadlift as possible.  Athlete may jump in and out as they like, if you miss 1 time you are done.   straps, suits, briefs will be allowed.  Belts allowed.  THIS IS A NATIONAL RECORD BREAKING EVENT.

Sandbag/duck walk/ Farmers Carry Medley:  Athlete will carry the sandbag 50 feet, run back to the duck walk, carry it 50 feet, run back get the farmers handles, carry them 50 feet.  Time stops when the entire farmers carry handles cross the line. 

Strongman Axle Squat:  Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible.  Athlete must wait for the squat command each rep.  All supportive gear is allowed.

Keg carry and load:  Athlete will have 60 seconds to carry the keg 20 feet, and then load the keg over the cross bar as many times as possible.  All sleeves, gloves allowed, chalk, no tacky, no tacky town.

The top 3 in each class will receive trophy style awards.

Novice classes will cap at 10 athletes per class, I will determine when that cap will take place.

There will be a spectator fee of 10.00 dollars at the door.
