Event 1 VIKING PRESS: Athlete will have 60 seconds to get as many reps as possible. Once the Viking press is picked up and ready to press, no re-racking or setting it back down. A press of any kind is allowed. Press to lockout, no soft elbows, no soft knees, and feet back together for judge to give a good command. The weight will go back to shoulders before dipping and next rep. Athlete will face in toward the implement with a standard grip. Athlete can use elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, wrist wraps and a single belt. No other assistive equipment will be allowed.

Event 2 ARM OVER ARM DRAG: Athlete will have 60 seconds to pull a sled 50’. Athlete will start in a seated position behind a bracing block. The athlete may put the pull rope in whatever orientation they want. Once the sled crosses the line, the pull is over. Athlete can use a single belt and chalk. No other assistive equipment will be allowed.

Event 3 UKRAINIAN DEADLIFT: Athlete will have 60 seconds to get as many reps as possible. A weighted keg with a metal rowing handle will be the implement. Athletes will be given a start command to lift the weight from the ground while standing with each foot on separate 30" platforms. A rep is complete when the knees and hips have locked out and the judge gives you the down command. Athlete will bring the keg back to the ground before each rep attempt. If the keg does not touch the ground you will receive a no rep from the judge. Commands given will be start, down, and time. Athlete can use up to 2 belts and chalk. No other assistive equipment will be allowed.

Event 4 TIRE FLIP: Athlete will have 60 seconds to get as many tire flips as possible on a 50’ track. Down and backs are allowed. Each rep will be counted after the tire is successfully flipped over and when the tire "smacks" on the ground. All "smacks" must take place before time is called. Any "smacks" after time will not be counted. Athlete can use a single belt, gloves, and chalk. No other assistive equipment will be allowed.

Event 5 STONE OVER LADDER: All athletes from all weight classes will line up in a designated order and attempt to load over all stones from lightest to heaviest (8 stones total). Athletes will have 20 seconds per stone to get it over the bar (W=48"/M=52"). If the stone is loaded you get back in line, if it is not you are out. Athlete can use grip shirt, chalk, tacky (a skin barrier to apply tacky to is allowed such as athletic wrap/duct tape, etc.), and a single belt. No other assistive equipment will be allowed. Tacky will be applied and removed in the designated area!
