SIC Strength has been invited back to host a 2nd Kilted Strongman competition in the main arena at the 2025 Robin Hoods Medieval Faire!

Saturday June 21st will be reserved for us Strongmen, Strongwomen, and Strongpeople.

Sunday June 22nd will be reserved for the Highland Games.

*All athletes will be required to wear a kilt, please plan accordingly. If you would like to purchase a custom SIC Strength sports kilt to receive at weigh-ins, please complete and submit the form linked here. (if you don't have a google account, email sicstrengthteam@gmail.com about kilts) 

This event will be held outdoors, so it is advised to bring coolers and tent setups to protect you from the sun and dehydration. *Tent setups are first come first serve and need to be RenFair themed* The Fair will be going on at the same time so you will also have access to all of that, including shopping, food, entertainment, and beverages (at your own expenses) .... but if any athlete presents as buzzed or drunk at any point during the competition you will not be permitted to lift.

Athletes enter the RenFair free of charge.

Because this event is at the RenFair, we are planning on going BIG and we encourage any attire, face paint, hair, and makeup for athletes....you can channel your inner beer wench, viking, Braveheart, barbarian, fairy, or more. Don't worry, the only part that is mandatory is the kilt, and please wear compression shorts underneath! There will be a zero tolerance rule for swearing, as there will be kiddos in the crowd. Let's put on a show and demonstrate how STRONG we all are. We are the vikings who would have pulled the boats ON LAND!

Spectator Info: all spectators will have to pay the Ren Fair entry fee;

• child 6 and under is free
• service dogs are free
• pets are $5 (proof of dog's rabies vaccination required)
• youth age 7-15 is $10
• anyone 16+ will be $15
• parking is free

Events and Weights: All events/weights subject to change without notice. All judge rulings are final.

• Hercules Hold: Athletes will start with the handles in their hand, once the athlete is ready the timer will begin and full weight be held. Time will stop when the athlete lets go of the handles. Longest time wins. Knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, chalk, and belts allowed. NO straps, tacky, or suits
• Fingal Fingers: Max reps in a 60 second time limit. Athletes will start on the open end of the finger. On the judge’s command, the athlete will attempt to flip finger to other side and repeat this effort for max reps. Knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, chalk, and belts allowed. NO straps, tacky, or suits
• Wagon Wheel Load and Pull: Athlete will run 50 feet and load 3 sandbags individually onto implement, and then pull the implement 50’. 90 second time limit. If athlete does not finish, distance and bags completed will be measured. Knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, chalk, and belts allowed. NO straps, tacky, or suits
• Husafell/Husacross Carry; Implement will begin on a stand (not the ground). Athlete will have 60 seconds to carry the implement 100’. No drops allowed, 1 turn around point. Knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, chalk, sticky shirts, and belts allowed. NO straps, tacky, or suits
• Natural Stone Overhead Press: Max reps in 60 seconds, reset from the ground between each rep. Knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, chalk, sticky shirts, and belts allowed. NO straps, tacky, or suits
