EVENT SCHEDULE

ELIGIBILITY

The main requirement to enter this competition is to have an active membership with United States Strongman at the time of the event. To apply, please register online. Competitors must be at least 18 years of age to participate in this event.

ENTRY FEES

Contest entry is $90. No refunds will be allowed under any circumstances. Spectator entry is $10 (charged at the door).

REGISTRATION

Event registration will close on June 29, 2023. All late registrations will require a $30 late fee.

IMPLEMENTS

1. Axle Bar Deadlift (with wagon wheels) - Fixed weight (based on division and weight class). Athletes are scored on the total number of repetitions in one minute.
2. Log Press - The bar will increase in weight each round. The event will end once there is one athlete remaining in each weight class/division. Athletes are scored on the maximum weight lifted.
3. Dinnie Stone Hold - Fixed weight (based on division and weight class). Athletes are scored on the longest time held in the erect position.
4. Stone Over Bar - Fixed weight (based on division and weight class). Athletes are scored on the total number of repetitions in one minute.
5. Yoke Carry - Fixed weight (based on division and weight class). Athletes are scored based on the fastest time (or total distance if they cannot complete all 100 feet).

UNIFORM AND EQUIPMENT

Allowed – Wrist wraps, knee and elbow sleeves, singlets, belts, grip shirts, chalk, stickum/tacky spray, and gloves.

Not Allowed – Squat/deadlift suits, knee wraps, and bench press shirts.

AWARDS

The top three places in each division and weight class (by gender) will receive awards.

QUALIFYING STEPS

The top three finishers in each division will qualify for Nationals.

RULES

The rules, guidelines, and criteria for each event will be communicated prior to the start of the competition.

SPECIAL PROVISIONS

Weight classes and divisions may be combined depending on the number of competitors.
