TIME: 9am Rules, 9:30am warm up, 10am start (weigh in morning of & day before) 

Friday February 20th weigh ins 10am-12pm and 5pm-7pm. Saturday Weigh Ins 8:00am-8:45am

AWARDS: 1st place and 2nd place trophies, cash prizes for top male and female athlete of the day, and Qualifications for Regionals and Nationals with enough entries

ENTRY FEE: $100 NO REFUNDS or exchanges, $85 Early Bird Available for limited athletes

ENTRY DEADLINE: January 11th, 2026

Spectator fee: $10 –a portion of the proceeds will be going to Strong Paws Rescue

 

Events and Weights: 

  • Max Deadlift: Saxon Bar,  3 attempts for max weight, last man standing style. No suits, straps, or baby powder allowed, but mixed grip and chalk will be permitted. Do not drop the bar, powerlifting rules apply, if your hands leave the bar before it touches the ground it's a "no rep".

 

  • Press Medley: Keg - log - circus dumbbell - barbell for reps. Athlete will lift implements in that order, 60 second time limit, must wait for down commands. Wrist wraps, elbow/knee sleeves, and grip shirts allowed. 10" log for all divisions. If you spike any implement you will be zeroed.

 

  • Stone to Shoulder: Atlas stone to shoulder, max reps in 60 seconds, must wait for down commands, must be steady at the top with one hand off the stone, uncontrolled drops will result in a "no rep". No tacky, but sleeves are allowed.

 

  • Max Yoke for 10ft: 3 attempts for max weight carried 10ft, no drops, last man standing style. Full implement needs to cross the line. No suits allowed. Knee/wrist wraps, all sleeves, and belts permitted. Yoke heights will be determined at weigh-ins and recorded, with the goal of not wasting time during the event making unnecessary changes.

 

  • Sandbag Load: ALL sandbags will be lined up for each athlete, the athlete will start with the lightest sandbag and keep going until weight failure, then will have the option to go back 1 sandbag and attempt to gain reps. All bags completed will be added for scoring. 60 second time limit, bar will be set to 50" for women and 54" for men. If an athlete grabs onto the bar to help the weight over, this will be a "no rep". Here are the bag weights - 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 250, 300

 

There will be a $500 cash prize to the top male lifter and top female lifter of the day. This will be determined with an adapted DOTS system (Dynamic Objective Team Scoring System) where a formula is used to compare strength across different weight classes and sex-at-birth. It's a relative scoring system, meaning the higher the number, the better the performance.  This will mean that ALL DIVISIONS will need to weigh in, if an athlete does not weigh-in then they are disqualified from the cash prize. An athletes' body weight, the weight they lift, and their sex are utilized for scoring; all events were designed to allow every athlete the opportunity to lift as much as they are capable during the competition.

 

If enough sponsors are secured, additional cash prizes will be added for the 2nd and 3rd top lifters of the day.
