60-second time limit per attempt. Ladder style. Weight increases by stone size only. Athletes will have three (3) attempts to reach a max weight. Athletes may choose the attempt. Weight will not decrease. Any missed attempt can be repeated within the allotted 60 second time limit.
Athletes may press, push-press, push jerk or split jerk the object overhead to a locked out position. Athletes must wait for the “Good” down signal to get a good lift. A “Good Lift” is defined as having the implement locked out, under control overhead with arms straight, head through, legs and feet parallel and stationary. Athletes must lower the object under control.
Equipment Allowed: Chalk, Knee & Elbow Wraps or Sleeves, Belt
Equipment NOT Allowed: “Built-up” belt to provide shelf, tacky, tacky towel
Farmer’s Carry for Distance
Max Distance. No time-limit. 50ft. course. Athletes may start with hands on the implements. Implement will start on the ground. Athletes must travel around the cone before returning. Drops are not permitted. Distance will be measured at the end of the trailing implement.
Equipment Allowed: Belt, Knee wraps or sleeves, chalk.
Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky, Straps, Lifting Hooks
Husafel Carry
Unlimited time. Implement will start on the ground. Athletes may start with hands on the implement. Athletes must cross the line prior to turning back. Athletes will carry the implement for max distance with turns at 75ft.
Equipment Allowed: Chalk, Belt, Elbow/Knee/Wrist straps or sleeves.
Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky or tacky towel, lifting hooks.
Weighted Hold
Unlimited time. Athletes will have one attempt to accomplish the best time. Athletes will lean against a board or similar object to prevent excessive lean back. Implement will be handed to the Athletes. Implement will be held at the top, with hands “stacked.” The judge will use the bottom hand as a reference. The bottom hand must not be lowered below the chin nor raised higher than eye level. The Athletes must hold the implement straight out from the torso. A slight bend in the elbow is permitted, however excessive angle will result in time stoppage. The Athletes will receive one warning from the judge to correct their form. The next infraction will result in time being stopped.

Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky or Tacky Towel, Built-up Belt
