Format – Teams of 4, each athlete representing a different weight class (Lightweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight, OPEN). No more than 2 athletes from each category (Teen, Masters, Women, Men) and at minimum one female athlete per team.

Cost - $400 per team

EVENTS

*every teammate must compete in at least 3 events and no more than 4

WAGON WHEEL DEADLIFT (18”) – 

This is a partner deadlift. Partners must be one woman and one male. Scoring will be done with Wilks scoring, so if a lightweight woman and middleweight are on the team, their combined body weight will be used to determine the multiplier for the lift. Suits and straps are ok. No other aids. Must wear some foot protection (no barefoot or just socks) 

TEAM PRESS MEDLEY – 

All four team members will participate. The first teammate will clean and press the circus dumbbell (12” 125lb for males, 12” 95lb if a female) for 4 reps alternating arms each rep. Upon completion will return to the start line to tag the next teammate. The second teammate will complete 3 axle clean and presses (205lb male/155lb female) before returning to tag the third teammate. The third teammate will complete two keg clean and presses (225lb male/165lb female) before tagging in the final teammate. The final teammate will then complete one log clean and press (280lb male/180lb female). 90 second limit. 

FATBACK FARMERS CARRY –

Two sets of handles will be set at the start line. First set of handles will be 205lbs if a female is starting and 275lbs if it’s a male. Athlete will walk and carry the handles 75 feet around a cone and return to the start line and continue this loop until they drop the handles. When they drop the second set of handles can be picked. These handles will be 325lbs if it’s a male athlete and 255lbs if a female athlete. The athlete will continue the same 75’ loop until they drop or two minutes total time has expired. Score will be total distance combined. No straps allowed

Alternating Sandbag to Shoulder

Two team members. Teammates will alternate I go you go style with their respective weighted sandbag. The rep will be counted upon the down command from the judge, teammate may not begin their turn though until their teammates bag hits the ground. Bags must be dropped in front of the athlete. Any bags dropped behind the athlete will result in a “no rep”. 

STONE SERIES (4 teammates)

THIS EVENT WILL ALSO BE FOR THE WILD CARDS FOR FINALS. The 4 fastest teams to complete across all regionals, that do not finish in the overall top three of their region, will win a wild card spot for finals. 

Each athlete will complete 3 reps over a 48”( women) or 54” (men) bar with their specific weight, before tagging in their next teammate. Team can go in any order. 

FINALS – 

• Top three in each region will qualify for the finals along with the top 4 stone times by non-podium finishers will qualify for finals. Finals will be located in AZ with information on venue and date to be released at a later date.
