Weigh Ins/Athlete Check In*:
- Weigh-ins will be held the day before, including SHW Classes. Athletes under age of 18 must have parent at check in

Events & Rules:
EVENT 1: Axle Clean & press
Ladder style. Each athlete will have a 60 second time limit on each attempt. weight will increase by 10lbs each round. Each Athlete will have only 3 attempts to reach a max. Weight will not decrease. last recorded successful lift will be recorded. Belt cleans will not be allowed or resting the bar on your belt when cleaning the axle.
The bar will start from the floor standard plate height 9”. Once the bar weight reaches 175 and above. The bar starting height will be raised to wagon wheel height of 13”.
A Good lift: Athlete must clean and press axle fully above the head with both arms locked, legs and feet in line. While showing control. Once the signal is given for a good lift the athlete must return the axle to the floor under control. Dropping the axle will result in a “NO Lift” (unless the athlete is clearly bailing from an attempt)
Equipment Allowed: Chalk, Knee sleeves, Knee Wraps, Elbow sleeves, Wrist wraps, Elbow wraps, Belts, Built up belt (one soft belt & one hard belt), Grip shirts
Equipment NOT Allowed: Tacky or Towel Tacky, Supportive suits, straps of any kind
Event 2: Lever Deadlift - Reps
60 second time limit. There will be three deadlifts on the lever. Athlete will start hands on implement on the command "GO", athlete will deadlift the first rep once the down command is given. athlete will then lower the bar back down and move to the next bar. Again the athlete will deadlift the second rep once the down command is given the athlete will then lower the bar back down and move on to the final bar. once the athlete reaches the final bar they will continue to deadlift for reps until the time limit is reached.
Split times will be taken between each bar for tie breakers

Event 3: Sand bag toss over bar
The Athlete will have 60 seconds to throw 5 bags as fast as possible over the bar. The athlete will stand with their back towards the uprights. The Athlete will throw each bag over their head using one or two hands. The sandbag must go over the bar within the inside of the uprights to be counted. The sandbag may touch the crossbar as it goes over. As soon as the bag goes over the crossmember the athlete can go grab another bag and begin to throw. Each athlete will be in charge of retrieving their bags by them selfs if they fly off course or don’t make it over. once the last bag hits the ground time will stop. Fastest time to get all the bags over the bar wins.
each weight class will have 5 total bags women will have five 20lb bags & men will have five 40lb bags

Event 4: Yoke carry / 3 rep log clean press medley
Athlete will have 60 second time limit. on the command "Go" the athlete will pick up the yoke and move down towards the other end of the sideline. Once the athlete and yoke fully cross the line the athlete can then move on to the log. Once at the log the athlete will clean and press the log for 3 reps. once the event is fully completed time will stop or if athlete is not able to finish event within giving amount of time. Athlete will be able to set the yoke down as many times as they want. sliding of the yoke while carrying it down the line will not be allowed.
A Good lift: Athlete must clean and press the log fully above the head with both arms locked, legs and feet in line. While showing control. Once the signal is given for a good lift the athlete must return the log to the floor under control. Event 5: Yoke Zercher Carry - Time
Athlete will have 60 second time limit. on the command "Go" the athlete will pick up the yoke in a "Zecher hold position" and move down towards the other end of the sideline. once athlete and implement cross the sideline they can then set the implement down and turn around and once again pick up the yoke "Zecher hold position" and head back to the original starting line. once athlete and implement cross the original starting line time stops.
If athlete sets the implement down in between the sidelines to repick they will get additional 5 seconds added to their time for every set down and repick.
Distance: 50ft / 50ft = 100ft
