EVENTS:
Axle CP/Log CP/Sandbag press - Athletes will have a total of 60 seconds to press all three implements in any order they choose. The goal is to complete all presses as quickly as possible, with the fastest time earning the most points. Each lift must end in a full lockout position with the feet together, and athletes must wait for the official down command before releasing the implement and moving on to the next. Athletes may fail and retry as many times, or skip an implement and return to any failed implement before time cap. Rep only counts if completed.
If all three implements are successfully pressed within the time limit, the athlete will receive a “3” rep count, and their time will be recorded at the moment the final implement is locked out. If not all implements are completed, the score will reflect the number of successful presses. Once the 60 seconds expire, rep cannot be completed. Split times will be recorded on the medley.
Equipment allowed - Grip shirt, knee/elbow sleeves/wraps, chalk, soft belt (1), hard belt (1), wrist wraps
Equipment not allowed - if it is not listed above it is not allowed.
Silver dollar deadlift with Texas Power Bar - will be pulled on a Texas power bar. There will be a rising bar and you will get three attempts. If you miss an attempt you can reattempt or go up in weight. The bar is at 18 inches. Jumps will be 40 or 50 lb. increments. Strap in before the lift command. You will be given 60 seconds to complete the lift. You are responsible to call out your attempts once the bar is loaded. During the event you can jump in to do warm ups. All fingers including thumb must maintain contact with the bar for the lift to count. No sumo stance allowed.
Equipment allowed - straps (including figure 8s), suits, briefs, soft belt (1), hard belt (1), figure eights, chalk, knee/elbow sleeves/wraps
Equipment not allowed - if it is not listed above it is not allowed.
Arm over Arm Sled Pull - fastest time to pull the sled 50 ft wins. Time limit for this event is 60 seconds. You will be facing the implement and will pull seated with your feet against a board for leverage. You can ask for someone to assist with pulling out the slack on the rope during the attempt. Partial distance will be measured if you cannot complete in the time limit. Butt does not need to stay in contact with the ground.
Equipment allowed - Knee and elbow sleeves, wrist wraps, soft belt (1), hard belt (1), briefs or suits of any kind, chalk
Equipment not allowed - if it is not listed above it is not allowed.
Rising Yoke Run - Each athlete will have 2 minutes to run a yoke 40' each direction for maximum distance. At the end of each 40 foot run the next weight will be added and the athlete will be given a "Go" command. The athlete can wait as long as needed to begin the next run. The athlete will be starting under yoke in position ready to go for the start command. You are allowed unlimited drops for this event. Give your yoke heights during weigh ins.
Men’s jumps will be 90lbs and Women’s jumps will be 50lbs.
Equipment allowed - Chalk, grip shirt, elbow/knee sleeves, knee wraps, soft belt (1), hard belt (1), and wrist wraps.
Equipment not allowed - if it is not listed above it is not allowed.
Atlas rising stone over bar - 60 seconds to lift stone over bar. 48" for women, 52" for men. If the max stone is lifted, then max reps for 60 seconds will determine the most points. Hands will start on the bar to begin. We will have a tacky clean up station outside. Please clean up directly after completing the event to minimize mess. Once you start the lightest stone you will move to the next stone, a loader will move the stone into position until you lift the heaviest stone. Once you lift the heaviest stone you can continue lifting until you reach max time. Split times will be recorded on the stones.
Equipment allowed - stone sleeves, tacky, grip shirt, elbow or knee sleeves, soft belt (1), hard belt (1)
