All athletes must check in/weigh-ins on Friday, March 20th at 10 am - 12 noon or 5pm - 7pm at The Sweaty Pig. Novice and Teen divisions do not have to weigh in but still need to attend check ins. Please have your Strongman Corporation membership card ready to view.
Competition Day
Competition will begin at 10 am! A brief rules meeting with all athletes and judges will be at 9:30. Athletes may begin arriving at 8 am. If you show up more than 2 hours before the event I will make you sit outside. Please don't be that person. This event will run quickly, so prepare accordingly.
Deadlift Ladder
Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete 3 ascending weight deadlifts. The first bar will be a power bar, second bar a deadlift bar, and third bar a mammoth bar. Athletes will start with their hands off the bar. Athletes must receive a down command to receive the rep.
Gear allowed: straps, chalk, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, soft belt, hard belt, stretchy strongman shorts.
No deadlift suits or briefs. No tacky or sticky spray of any sorts
Sandbag Load + Throw Medley
4 bags will be lined up 20 feet from the bar. Athletes will start with their hand on the bar. At “go” athletes will have 60 seconds to load 2 bags and throw 2 bags. Athletes must load the lighter carry bag over the bar first, then throw the lighter bag over the higher bar, load the heavier bag over the bar, and finish with throwing the fourth bag over the higher bar. If the throw bag gets stuck on the high bar, it will count as going over, even if it gets knocked down later in the run. Load and throw height is TBD.
Gear allowed: soft belt, hard belt, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, chalk, Strongman Corp or Cerberus grip shirts, stretchy strongman shorts.
Not allowed: tacky or sticky spray of any kind, lifting straps.
Max Barbell Clean and Press
Athletes will have 3 attempts to establish a max lift. This will be a rising bar. Athletes will jump in when the weight on the bar is what they would like for their attempt. Each class will be staying with their group. Once one class finishes their max attempts, the next class will begin. Athletes will have 30 seconds per attempt. If the athlete misses the attempt, but has time left, they may attempt again in their 30 second time cap. If they athlete misses their attempt but has an attempt left, they can follow themselves to try again. A minimum of 2 minutes will be given to athletes following themselves. We will be using kilograms for this event and the weight jump TBD. We will be using a women's Olympic weightlifting bar.
Athletes may use a continental clean, weightlifting clean, snatch, or whatever you seem capable for a max lift. Athletes display control of the bar overhead and wait for a down command from the head judge to receive the lift.

Fingal's Finger
Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps as possible. Athletes will start with hands off the implement. The fingals finger must be past the mid line and falling to the other side for the rep to count.
Gear allowed: soft belt, hard belt, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, chalk, Strongman Corp or Cerberus grip shirts, stretchy strongman shorts.
Not allowed: tacky or sticky spray of any kind, lifting straps.
Stone Over Bar series
Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete the stone series. 3 stones will be set at a higher bar and the final and heavier stone will be set at a lower bar. Athletes will start with the backs of their hands touching the bar. Athletes can not grab onto the bar to help push the stone over the bar. For all class, the height for the first 3 stones will be 46 inches, the final stone height will be 42 inches.
Gear allowed: soft belt, hard belt, knee sleeves, elbow sleeves, chalk, Strongman Corp or Cerberus grip shirts, tacky, and/or sticky spray, stretchy strongman shorts.

Strongman Corporation membership is required for all competitors and can be purchased online at https://strongmancorporation.com/memberships/. Please note that USS and Strongman Corporation are not the same, and you will need a Strongman Corporation membership for this competition.
Nationals bids will be awarded in Open classes based on the number of athletes in each class as follows:
- 1 athlete in a class: the promoter may merge the class with another class; if the athlete competes alone they will earn an invite by completing (i.e. not “zeroing”) at least 4 of the 5 events to the standards originally set forth by the promoter.
- 2-4 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for Nationals
- 5-9 athletes in a class: 1st and 2nd place qualify for Nationals
- 10+ athletes in a class: 1st-3rd place qualify for Nationals
Masters Athletes qualify for America's Strongest Master by placing in the top 3 of a Masters class *or* in the top 5 of an Open class.
Teens qualify for America's Strongest Teen by participating in a Teen, Novice, or Open division.
Weigh-ins will be conducted in KILOGRAMS and there is NO "allowance" for clothing. For example, an athlete in the 64kg class must weigh in at 64.0kg or less. Athletes must weigh in wearing (minimally) a bra and underwear.
