Overhead Medley (clean & press 4 implements) For Time

• Log Press 10" Bar - 160lb
• Axle Bar - 170lb
• Sandbag - 150lb
• Double Dumbbell - 65lb each

Competitors will have a time limit and will approach the implements in whichever order they choose. Once an implement is attempted, you cannot move onto another one until you are successful; if the implement cannot be completed, your run ends there. Choose the order wisely. Belt Cleans are allowed on the Axle Bar. NO dropping or throwing the implements from full height, they must be guided down with a demonstrable level of control

18" Deadlift Max

Bar will start at 275lb and will rise in 25lb increments. Each competitor gets 3 attempts. Competitors may jump in for an attempt at any weight increment desired. Though, if you fail a weight, you are done, and eliminated. Competitors will stand close by when a weight comes that they desire to do, and will indicate that they desire to attempt this weight. Max 3 attempts. NO Sumo or Suits. Straps are fine, any kind, figure 8's are allowed.

Stone to Shoulder for Reps

Competitors will lap and shoulder a natural stone from Lake Superior for reps within a given time limited. The stone weighs 152lb. Competitors may NOT wear a grippy shirt for this event (or tacky or any type of suit). Once the stone is shoulder and the other hand is off and control is demonstrated, the judge will give a down signal for that rep.

Sandbag Carry for Max Distance

A 200lb sandbag will be carried for max distance. Competitors will run the bag 50ft at a time, then turning and heading back for another run. The bag cannot be dropped; once it is dropped, your run is over. The bag cannot be carried on the shoulder or up above; ONLY front carry. 

Atlas Stone for Reps

Competitors will get to choose which stone they want to use for this event, the 169lb or 195lb stone. Competitors will lift the stone over a 52" bar for reps within a time limit. Stone weights will be chosen before any competitor goes. Once a stone weight is chosen, it cannot be changed. Reps at the lower weight are worth less than reps at the higher weight; choose wisely. Tacky and sleeves allowed. 

Any Ties will result in a tiebreaker event that will remain secret until the end of the competition.

You can still sign up after the registration due date, but there is no guarantee for a t shirt.

Chalk, Grip Shirts (EXCEPT ON STONE TO SHOULDER EVENT), Stone Sleeves, gloves, Belt, Elbow Sleeves, Knee Sleeves and Wrist Wraps are fine for any event. Tacky allowed only on Atlas Stone Event. Bring your own tacky and chalk. Tacky cleanup station will be available.

This is an open-weight, 1-division competition that is not intended for advanced or elite lifters. Of course, anyone is welcome to sign up, but bear this in mind. 

The competition will begin at 9:30 AM on Saturday, September 30th, 2023. The contest will take place at Lincoln Park in Willmar, MN, right off of Minnesota Ave SE (to the south) or Trott Ave SE (to the north). Please plan on parking on Minnesota Ave SE until that fills up.

Bring your own tacky, chalk, water, food, etc. Bring a lawn chair and encourage spectators to bring food, water, and a chair as well. No cost for spectators. This contest is outside and will continue in mildly bad weather - rain or shine. We will have a backup plan if the weather turns dangerous or terribly bad the day of.
