Events

Wagon Wheel Axle Press

Athletes will have 60 seconds to press the Axle overhead for as many reps as they can. Athlete must not touch the Axle until the start command is given. Once time begins, athlete can bring the Axle to the crash pads as many times as needed, but does NOT need to clean each rep. In order for the athlete's rep to count, they must show control of the implement in the overhead, upright position and wait for the down command.

The "Keglift"

Athletes will begin with the starting weight for their weight class and perform the first rep, once they receive the down command, they will lower the Yoke and have 20lbs (for teens and Women's LW novice) and 50lbs (for all other classes) added to the implement and must wait for the up command before attempting their next rep. This will continue until failure. Straps allowed. No suit allowed. The implement will be a yoke converted into a deadlift implement with kegs affixed to all four posts. The crossmember is 2" thick and will be set at 20" high. Athlete can begin with their hands on the bar. They must wait for the down command for the rep to count. Straps allowed. NO suits or briefs. (Starting weights will be approximate until implement an be tested).

Farmer/Feedsack/Milk Can Carry Medley

Athlete will have 60 seconds to move 3 implements 25' each. Athlete can have their hands on the implement when time is called. Each implement must fully cross the line before moving on to the next implement. Gloves WILL be allowed but no tacky or straps.

Feed Sack Throw

Athlete will have three attempts to throw a feedsack as far as they can. A line will be drawn which the athletes can not cross. If the athlete crosses the line, their attempt will not count. The feedsack can be thrown anyhow, anyway (running start, spin, etc) as long as no extra implements are use. Just your own two hands!

Tractor Pull (subject to change)

Athlete will have 60 seconds to pull a Farm Truck with a rope. Athlete will be seated in a tire and will have the ability to sit one side and use the other side of the tire to brace against with feet. Athlete will use a rope to pull the tractor 50'. Chalk and gloves are allowed. Tacky is not.
