If there is only 1 athlete in a class, they will get combined with another class or just get a regionals bid (we will leave the combining of classes up to the promoter). 

If there are 2-5 athletes in a class:

1st place - Nationals (2023) and Regionals (2023) invites

2nd - Regionals (2023)

3rd - Regionals (2023)

If there are 6+ athletes in a class:

1st - Nationals(2023) and Regionals (2023)

2nd - Nationals (2023) and Regionals (2023)

3rd - Regionals (2023)

4th - Regionals (2023)

There are no specific qualifications that must be made to participate in this event. Athletes must simply be an active member of Strongman Corporation to compete in this event.

Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division.

Record Breaker Log Clean and Press

Athletes will have a 60-second time limit per attempt, 3 attempts with Wessels Rule, to find their MAX Log Clean and Press. Feet parallel, knees, and elbows locked, head through. When if you miss one of your lifts you are done for that lift.

Allowed: chalk, wrist/elbow straps, wrist/elbow wraps, elbow sleeves

Not allowed: tacky, gloves

Bag Over Bar

Athletes have 30 seconds to complete each throw (3 total attempts) and the athlete who successfully completes the heaviest throw wins. The last man standing.

Women - 10ft 

Men - 15ft

Allowed-Belt, knee/elbow sleeves, chalk, wrist wraps 

Not Allowed- Tacky/tacky towel, suits

Wagon Wheel Axle Deadlift

The athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many deadlifts as possible. The athlete must hold at lockout for a Down signal & control the weight back to the ground for the rep to count. Must hit full extension.

Allowed: chalk, wraps, sleeves, grip shirt, belt

Not Allowed: tacky, body suits

Sandbag Medley

The athlete has 60 seconds to carry 3 sandbags onto a 4ft hay bale from 3 different distances (5ft, 15ft, and 25ft). 5ft-heavy sandbag, 10ft-medium weight sandbag, 25ft-light sandbag. The athlete can choose which order of sandbags. 

Allowed: chalk, sleeves, belt, grip shirt

Not Allowed: tacky, body suits

Arm Over Arm Tractor Pull

Athletes will have 60 seconds to pull the tractor 20ft. This is arm over arm, the athlete will be in a seated position when pulling.

Allowed-Belt, knee/elbow sleeves, chalk, wrist wraps, straps

Not Allowed- Tacky/tacky towel, knee/elbow wraps, suits
