Come one and all to your local brewery and battle it out against fellow barbarians! This is an unsanctioned strongman competition that will be held at Barbarian Brewing Company is Garden City, Idaho. WEIGH-INS:

There are two options for weigh-ins:

               Friday the 10th at Barbarian Brewing from 5p.m.-7:30p.m. 

               Saturday at Barbarian Brewing from 9:00a.m.-10a.m.

If you need to weigh-in earlier on Friday, contact me and we can schedule a time. At weigh-in you will also be receiving your swag bag and t-shirt.

START TIME:

Rules briefing will begin at 10:00a.m., warm-ups will start at 10:30a.m. and we'll begin the first event at 11a.m.

PARKING:

Please do not park in front of the taproom so that it can remain open for other customers. Avoid parking in the lots of nearby business as well.

There is street parking along Clay St (between 32nd & 35th) as well as street parking along 33rd, 34th and 35th.

Special note - no parking at Stagecoach Inn. Cars WILL get towed.

Please pass this along to any spectators you will be inviting who will be there for an extended period of time.

Keg Press Medley

Athlete will have 60 seconds to press three kegs overhead. Athlete must begin with the lighter keg and progress to the heaviest and must wait for the down command from the judge before moving to the next keg. 

Max Wagon Wheel Axle Deadlift

Athletes will begin with the starting weight for their weight class and perform the first rep, once they receive the down command, they will lower the axle and will have 50lbs added to the bar and can attempt their next rep. This will continue until failure. Athlete will have 30 seconds to complete an attempt. Straps allowed. No suit allowed.

Keg Load

Athletes will load a keg over a 48" bar for as many reps as possible. A spotter will guide the keg back to the athlete after each rep. No Tacky. 60-second time cap.

Truck Pull

Athlete will pull a truck as quickly as possible. Athlete will be in a harness, begin at the starting line and upon being given the start command will pull the truck for 25 feet. Athletes will have a rope on which to pull and have a 60 second time cap. If an athlete is unable to complete the full 25ft, distance will be measured to determine placing. 

Beer Stein/Pitcher Hold

Athlete will hold the steins/pitchers in each hand and perform a crucifix hold for time. The athlete must keep their shoulders and hips against a fixed object and feet behind a line. Arms must be straight with no bend in the elbows. Athlete must keep their fists no higher than their ear and no lower than parallel to the ground. As soon as either one of the steins moves too high or too low, time will be called. This will be a head-to-head event. No straps or tacky allowed.
