Hi Ladies!  The Tradition Continues!!!

USS 2023 Membership Required.  Top 3 in each open class and 1st place novice qualify for 2024 Nationals in Denver CO.  Awards will be given out at end of event.

Events

1. Axle Clean & Press: C+P Every REP.  Max reps in 60 seconds.  Athlete will start with hands on the axle which will be bumpers on Titan crash pads.  On judges command, clean axle (belt cleans are allowed), to the shoulder rack position.  Any and all pressing types are allowed as long as when axle is overhead, the head is through, arms locked out, hips and knees straight and maintaining control with feet aligned No other grips aids except chalk and a non federation competing grip shirt, is OSG or SC.
2. Descending Deadlift:  Max reps in 60 seconds.  Up and down commands.  Athlete can strap in before timer starts.  There will be 5 blocks, 1.5" each, and one will be pulled after each successful down command, progressing to the floor where with any remaining time, reps will be done from the floor.  Belts and all that jazz allowed.  Starts at 16.5".
3. Husafel Carry:  Max Distance carry with 30' turns Around the Cone and no drops allowed.  Husafel will be picked from the ground and distance recorded where dropped.  No sitting and resting in lap.  Chalk, belts, sleeves, and a non federation competing grip shirt allowed.
4. Yoke: 30-40' down and back, 60 second time limit.  Unlimited drops. Chalk, belts, sleeves, and a non federation competing grip shirt allowed.
5. Keg Over Bar: 44" height.  Most likely Head to Head rep for rep style!!!  More details to come.
