Events
Viking Press
Athlete will have 60 seconds to press the implement for as many reps as they can. Athlete can push press, but double dipping (push jerk) is not allowed. In order for the athlete's rep to count, they must show control of the implement in the overhead, upright position and wait for the down command.
Load the Boat Medley
Athlete will begin by loading the "boat" with the first sandbag and then pull the implement to the second line where they will load the second sandbag into the "boat". From there, the athlete will pull the implement to the third line, load the sandbag and pull it to the finish line. Time will be called when the front tires cross the line. Time is capped at 60 seconds.
Max Yoke Carry
Athlete will begin with their weight class's starting weight and walk 20'. Once the entirety of the implement crosses the line, the athlete will set the yoke down and loaders will add 50#. Athlete will turn around and carry the yoke back 20'. This will continue, with 50# added every 20' until failure. Athlete will get only ONE drop for each weight increase, and will have 45 seconds to complete each attempt.

Athlete will hold a sword or axe in one and and a shield in the other for as long as they are able. Time will start when both implements are aligned 90 degrees with the body standing upright. The arm for the sword/axe must be held out straight. Athletes using the axe must place their hands in the middle of the handle (between two lines). Athletes with the sword, must hold it by the hilt. Arm holding the shield does not need to be held out straight, but must not be propped up by any other part of the body. Athlete can choose which arm they want to use for each implement.
