EVENT RULES:

Dueling Log Clean and Press (press away)

– Two competitors will be facing each other 
– Competitor will have 60s to complete as many reps after being given the lift command from the judge
– Competitor can begin with hands on the implement

– Competitor will only be required to clean the log once and then press away for reps
– A completed rep will be given when implement is pressed fully overhead with hips through, elbows and knees locked and head through             

– The competitor will receive a zero for the event if they “tree top” the implement (Drop from overhead, down must be controlled)                                                                                                          

– Chalk, wraps, sleeves, belts, gloves and grip shirts OK (no SC/OSG shirts) 
– NO tacky, straps

Dueling Car Deadlift

– Two competitors will be facing each other at each implement
– Competitor has a 60s time limit to deadlift a vehicle
– Once the judge gives the lift command, the competitor will deadlift the implement and must wait for the "down" command. 

– A successful lift will have the competitor standing completely upright with hips through and knees locked. A “down” command will be given.
– Belt, chalk, sleeves, suits, straps and wrist wraps OK
– NO baby oil or tacky

Dueling Carry & Load

– Two competitors will be in two separate lanes side by side
– Competitor has 90s to carry a sandbag, keg and mystery implement to a 50' line where a monster sled is and then race backwards with the sled to original 50' line. 

– Competitor will start at 50’ line with hands off of the first implement
– After judge gives the “go” command, competitor will pick and carry the sandbag to the sled at 50’
– Competitor will run back and retrieve the keg and third mystery implement respectively. 

– Competitor will then race backwards with the sled to the original 50' line where time will be called. Competitor has unlimited drops but cannot throw implement to gain additional distance (if this occurs, the judge will instruct the competitor to carry the implement backwards to where implement was originally thrown).                    

–If athlete cannot complete the course within 90s, max distance will be recorded.
– Belt, chalk, sleeves, gloves, grip shirt (no SC/OSG shirts) and wrist wraps OK
– NO tacky or built up belts

Dueling CDB for Reps (clean every rep)

– Two competitors will be facing each other

– Competitor has 60s to complete as many reps at their prescribed weight.
– The competitor may clean the bell to their shoulder with two hands but MUST press with ONE hand
– A successful lift will have the competitor standing with hips through, locked knees and elbow locked at the top with head through
– Belt, chalk, sleeves, gloves and wrist wraps OK

– The competitor will receive a zero for the event if they “tree top” the implement (drop from overhead, down MUST be controlled).

– Belt, chalk, sleeves, grip shirt (no SC/OSG shirts) and wrist wraps OK
– NO tacky allowed

Dueling Head to Head Farmers Hold

– Two competitors will stand facing each other during this event.
– Competitors may start touching the implement
–There will be two judges for this event timing each competitor individually. 

–One judge will give both competitors a countdown from 3 to begin. Time will begin once the individual judge feels the athlete is standing upright with hips through and knees locked.                                           

– Clock stops when the competitors drop the farmers handles
– Chalk, sleeves, gloves and wrist wraps OK
– NO tacky or straps

ENTRY DEADLINE: 4/1/21
