EVENT 1: Viking Press Max + Synchronized Circus Dumbbell Reps (Simultaneous)
Athletes:
- Team of 4 athletes:
- 1 Female Viking Press
- 1 Male Viking Press
- 1 Female Circus Dumbbell
- 1 Male Circus Dumbbell
- The athletes/team will choose the implement (viking/circus dumbbell) they want to perform in. Athletes are assigned to one implement only and do not switch.
Time Cap:
- 90 seconds total per team for all activity (Viking Press & Synchronized Circus Dumbbell reps occur simultaneously). All 4 team members will be performing their respected implements at the same time.
- Timer starts on the "Go" signal.
Viking Press Max (1M + 1F)
Each athlete finds their heaviest successful Viking Press within 90 seconds.
Rules:
- Weights must increase after every successful attempt.
- Jumps: 20 lbs (F), 50 lbs (M).
- Only one attempt per weight. No reattempts allowed.
- Lift must be:
- Pressed to full lockout (elbows & knees).
- Controlled overhead with feet in line.
- Held until “Down” command.
- Missed lift = out. That athlete may not attempt a lower or same weight again.
- Female athlete will perform first, after finding her max, the Male athlete will jump in and find his max.
- ONLY Push Press and Strict Press is allowed. No Double Dipping.
- Athlete will be facing away from the implement
Starting weight:
Open: 90lbs (45lb plate each side)
Novice: 70lbs (35lb plate each side)
Synchronized Circus Dumbbell (1M + 1F)
Perform as many synchronized reps as possible in 90 seconds.
Rules:
- Each athlete has their own dumbbell.
- Only synchronized reps count:
- Must lock out overhead.
- Controlled lockout and “Down” command from judge.
- No partial credit for individual reps; both must complete the rep for it to count.
- Athletes may rest as needed, but time continues running.

Scoring:
Combine Viking Press total weight (M+F) + Circus Dumbbell total reps.
EVENT 2: Synchronized Multi-Implement Deadlift for Reps
Teams will have 60 seconds to perform as many synchronized deadlifts as possible.
Athletes:
- 4 athletes, each assigned to a different deadlift implement:
- Wagon Wheel Deadlift (Axle Bar)
- Silver Dollar Deadlift (Power Bar)
- Ukrainian Deadlift
- Frame Deadlift
- Each athlete chooses only one implement.
- No switching implements during the event.
- 60 seconds total for the entire team.
Weights:
Open:
Wagon Wheel Deadlift (Axle Bar) --> 300lbs
Silver Dollar Deadlift (Power Bar) --> 650lbs
Ukrainian Deadlift --> 250lbs
Frame Deadlift --> 600lbs
Novice:

Rules:
- Reps must be completed in sync by all 4 athletes.
- Bar/frame must reach full lockout simultaneously.
- Reps completed out of sync do not count.
- A successful rep requires:
- Full lockout: knees, hips extended; shoulders back.
- Clear “Down” command from a judge before lowering.
- If one athlete fails a rep or rests, the team must wait to resume synchronized reps.
- No bouncing or touch-and-go reps.
Scoring:
Total number of synchronized reps completed by the team in 60 seconds.
Partial reps or out-of-sync reps = no rep.
EVENT 3: Team Car Squat (Synchronized) for reps
Teams will have 60 seconds to perform as many synchronized squats as possible.
Athletes:
All 4 team members will squat a vehicle together in unison using a custom squat rig with 4 individual squat bar attachments.
- All 4 athletes must perform each rep in synchronization—squatting and standing together as a team.
- A good rep is only counted when:
- All 4 athletes descend to proper depth (breaking 90°).
- All 4 athletes lock out simultaneously at the top.
- Judges will only give down commands when the lift is completed.

Total synchronized reps completed in 60 seconds will determine the team’s score.
EVENT 4: Atlas Stone Relay for Time
Teams of 4 athletes will work together to load 4 atlas stones onto their respective platforms as quickly as possible within a 60-second time limit.
Athletes:
- All 4 team members will begin behind the designated starting line.
- Atlas stones will be lined up in increasing weights, each with a corresponding platform.
Weights:
Open:
Female under 73kg (-160lbs) --> 175lbs
Female over 73kg (+160lbs) --> 212lbs
Male under 105kg (-230lbs) --> 272lbs
Male over 105kg (+230lbs) --> 317lbs
Novice:
Female under 73kg (-160lbs) --> 144lbs
Female over 73kg (+160lbs) --> 175lbs
Male under 105kg (-230lbs) --> 221lbs
Male over 105kg (+230lbs) --> 272lbs
Rules:
- At the call of "3, 2, 1, GO!", the first athlete will sprint to the first stone, lift it, and load it onto the corresponding platform.
- Once the first athlete completes their lift, they must run back and CLEARLY tag the next athlete across the starting line.
- Only one athlete may be on the floor at a time.
- Each athlete is responsible for lifting and loading one stone.
- Stones must be securely placed on their platform to count.
- If a stone rolls off or is unstable, the athlete must correct it before tagging out.
Time Limit:
- The total event time is capped at 60 seconds.
- The event ends either when all 4 stones are successfully loaded or when the 60 seconds expire—whichever comes first.
Scoring:
- Fastest total team time wins.
- If all 4 stones are not loaded within 60 seconds, the number of successfully loaded stones will determine rank, followed by the time of the last completed stone.
EVENT 5: Strongman Tug of War – Last Team Standing
Athletes:
- 4 athletes per team:
- 1 athlete is secured in a body harness, connected directly to the rope.
- 3 athletes pull using their hands only (not in harnesses).
- Team roles must be set before each match and cannot be changed during the pull.
Match Setup:
- A single rope is used by both teams
- A marker is tied at the center of the rope.
- A center line and two victory zone lines are marked on the ground, approximately 15 feet from the harnessed athlete in each direction.
- Two teams line up on opposite sides of the rope.
Rules:
- Athletes take their positions:
- 1 athlete in harness attached to the end of the rope (leading the pull).
- 3 hand-pullers behind the harnessed athlete.
- Rope is pulled tight with the center marker aligned at the center line.
- 3... 2... 1... GO! — the match begins.
- The objective is to pull the rope till the harnessed athlete reaches and pulls the flag.
- The first team to do so wins the match and advances in the bracket.
- The opposing team is eliminated from the tournament.
- No time cap
Tournament Format:
- Baseball-style bracket (single-elimination).
- Teams face off head-to-head.
- Winners advance to the next round.
- Continue until only one team remains — crowned as the event champions.
Scoring:
- A team wins the match by:
- The harnessed athlete pulling the flag placed approximately 15 ft from their initial starting point.
