Athlete will start behind the implement - hands may be on the log before the start time.
Athletes will pick the log from crash pads. Clean once and press away. Once the judge gives a down command, the log must come back down to a resting/rack position on the chest (below the chin) before the next repetition is attempted. Athletes are allowed to re-clean the log if needed, but it’s not required. No resting the log on top of the head. Strict press, jerk press, push press are all allowed. If you have a physical limitation on lockout, it’s your responsibility to let the judge know in advance. Total successful reps will be recorded for score. If no successful reps are achieved in the time limit, athlete will receive a zero for the event.
You may use: grip shirts, wrist wraps, elbow/knee sleeves, belts (1 soft and 1 hard), chalk
MAX Axle Bar Zercher Squat
Athletes will first deadlift the axle bar off of the ground, rest the bar onto the legs in a deep squat position, moves the arms underneath the bar so that it is then resting in the crux of the elbows, and then stand up to a full-standing, locked out position. This will be for MAX weight, single pulls. You will get 3 attempts. Novice START weight: 150lb with 25lb jumps. Open START weight: 200 with 40lb jumps. Though, if you fail a weight, you are out, and eliminated. Competitors will stand close by when a weight comes that they desire to do, and will indicate that they desire to attempt this weight. Max 3 attempts.

Athletes will first pick up and carry a sandbag a set distance, then pick up and shoulder a different sandbag, and then finally throw a third sandbag for either height or distance - specific details and weights TBD.
Farmers Carry

Athlete will set the handles down, turn and pick the handles up again, then carrying them 40ft back to the starting line. The time is stopped when both farmers handles have crossed the line. Athletes may set down and pick up the farmers as many times as needed. 2 second penalty for sliding the handles on the ground.
Distance will be taken if course is not completed. Elbow/knee sleeves, chalk, wraps, belt are allowed.

Athletes will start with the lightest stone and must complete that stone before progressing to the next one. Tacky, gloves, stone sleeves, forearm guards and built up belts are NOT allowed.
