Copper Shot Distillery and Fullsterkur Shield Maiden Strength are proud to present: The Bonnie and Clyde Strongman Shootout!
This is an incredibly fun, family friendly event with so much to do (aside from watching spectacular feats of strength)...
There will be a live band, vendors, great food, games, moonshine, PRIZE MONEY and SO MUCH MORE!!
There will be a minimum of 2k in PRIZE MONEY for winners!
We will be reaching out to sponsors to get that prize money total as high as possible by February...

EVENT 1- Moonshine Runner Axle Clean and Press
Rules:
*Athlete can start with hands ON implement
*60 second time limit from judge's "go" command to get as many reps as possible. Clean and Press each rep.
*Wrist wraps, elbow/knee sleeves, chalk, grip shirts under contest T shirt, belt with buckle or lever to back ALLOWED. If Judge determines you are using the belt as a “catapult” your rep will NOT be counted.
*Straps, suits, tacky/tacky towels, elbow/knee wraps NOT ALLOWED.
*Elbows/knees must be extended and feet must be parallel to get the "down" call from judge. Must wait for down call for rep to be counted.
*strict press, push press, push jerk, power jerk, viper press, split jerk ALLOWED.
*Grip shirts allowed UNDER contest shirt
EVENT 2- MAX Whisky Barrel Deadlift for MONEY (height TBD but pull will be slightly higher than the standard 9" but nowhere near 18")
Rules:
*Athlete may start with hands on the bar (strapped in).
*60 second time limit from the Judge's "Go" command to complete a successful rep. Max attempts are allowed in the minute.
*Athletes must wait for “down” command for rep to count.
*straps, belt, knee/elbow sleeves, chalk, wrist wraps, hitching ALLOWED
*Tacky/tacky towel, knee/elbow wraps NOT ALLOWED.
*Last man standing. Miss an attempt and you’re out. Athletes DO NOT need to take every weight called. Jump in when you want to go and let’s see who can pull the most weight! Multiple weight classes will be in the same lane on the same bar. There will be 20# “jumps” for Men and 10# “jumps” for Women
*Heaviest Male and Female pull (regardless of class) will win CASH MONEY!!
EVENT 3- Seated Whisky Barrel Hoist
Rules:
*Athlete has 60 seconds to pull a Whisky Barrel up off the ground to a specified height then back down as many times as possible in the time period.
*Athletes may start SEATED in position with their hands on the rope. Time will start on judge's "go" command. Once given the "go" command athletes will begin the pull with a volunteer “feeding” the rope. Athletes MAY NOT use their own “feeder”.
*Belt, chalk, knee/elbow sleeves, wrist wraps allowed.
*Suits, tacky/tacky towel, knee/elbow wraps, straps NOT ALLOWED
EVENT 4- Copper Shine Bottle Crucifix Hold
Rules:
*Athlete will begin with their back against a barrier. On the Judge's go command, the athlete will raise two (one in each hand) Copper Whisky Shine bottles to their sides and hold for max time.
Arms must have just a slight bend in the elbows, be perpendicular to the torso and parallel to the ground or SLIGHTLY above.
*Athlete will be give ONE warning before time is stopped. This is at the Judge's discretion.
*Belt, wrist wraps, elbow/knee sleeves, chalk ALLOWED.
*Suits, elbow/knee wraps, straps, tacky/tacky towel NOT ALLOWED.
*Max time held wins.
EVENT 5- Mystery event!!
