STRONGMAN CORPORATION SANCTIONED EVENT * Strongman Corporation membership is required for all competitors and can be purchased online at https://strongmancorporation.com/memberships/. Please note that USS and Strongman Corporation are not the same, and you will need a Strongman Corporation membership for this competition.
Rule Meeting 9am Lifting starts Directly after (with time for warm up)
Spectator Fee $20 Children under 10 Free
Weigh in: Mandatory Weigh-ins will be conducted in KILOGRAMS and there is NO "allowance" for clothing. For example, an athlete in the 64kg class must weigh in at 64.0kg or less. Athletes must weigh in wearing (minimally) a bra and underwear.
Friday 9am-11:30am Saturday 7:30-8:30am
Nationals bids will be awarded in Open classes based on the number of athletes in each class as follows:
- 1 athlete in a class: the promoter may merge the class with another class; if the athlete competes alone they will earn an invite by completing (i.e. not “zeroing”) at least 4 of the 5 events to the standards originally set forth by the promoter.
- 2-4 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for Nationals
- 5-9 athletes in a class: 1st and 2nd place qualify for Nationals
- 10+ athletes in a class: 1st-3rd place qualify for Nationals
Masters Athletes qualify for America's Strongest Master by placing in the top 3 of a Masters class *or* in the top 5 of an Open class.
Teens qualify for America's Strongest Teen by participating in a Teen, Novice, or Open division.

MAX BARBELL OVERHEAD PRESS OFF BLOCKS * STANDARD BAR - 3 ATTEMPTS ( "Wessels Rule : Miss and you are Out)

Max Weight (starting preset weight see chart - may start higher - Can never go down in weight 20lb Jumps
*Must Claim Opening Attempt at Weight Ins - Athlete Must Claim next attempt Immediately after their previous attempt what their next attempt will be.
30 sec Time Limit -- Start Time Judge will ask Athlete Ready
Athlete may Press,push press,Jerk,Split Jerk the Bar Overhead
Must Lift within the Boxes (No walk outs)
Good lift: arms must be Locked Out overhead , under control, with arms straight and leg and Feet Stationary and Parallel.
Any and all limitations preventing Lockout as described above must be demonstrated to the judge prior to the start of the event. This is Solely
the responsibility of the athlete.
*PAY ATTENTION TO THIS RULE: The Athlete must Lower the Bar Under Control - No Dropping Bar from overhead. WIll DQ

Must wait for Down Command - CANNOT Drop Bar - Hands must stay on Bar until the Bar touches the Ground Athlete Must Claim next attempt Immediately after their previous attempt what their next attempt will be.
Conventional Stance Only - NO SUMO Allowed - Hitching is allowed
Lifting Straps, Belt ,Chalk, Sleeves Allowed
NO DEADLIFT SUITS Allowed NO Supportive Suits Allowed
Increase in weight will be done until one athlete remains. Athletes Must Claim Next Weight after Immediately Attempt
A line will be formed. As people drop out, the line will become shorter. Meaning you will have less time between reps. If the score keeper calls your name and you are not standing at the platform you will finish with the number performed

WAGON WHEEL ZERCHER SQUAT FOR REPS
Axle starts on Rogue Metal Pulling Box 16"
60 sec Time Frame
You cannot Rest the Zercher on your belt. Must be in Arms
Athlete's will be allowed to unrack the bar and time will start when the judge says SQUAT. Athlete will then squat TO PARALLEL DEPTH NO you do not need to go below parallel.
You must lockout the squat under control and wait for a down command after each rep.
Bailing on the bar will not be tolerated and may be cause for disqualification from the competition.
Rep must be completed before the time expires - NO Deliberate dumping of weigh
Equipment allowed- One Soft Belt, One Hard Belt, wrist wraps, knee wraps, knee and elbow sleeves, grip shirts, chalk. All other equipment not allowed unless approved. (NO SQUAT SUITS NO BRIEFS) (rehband style warm pants are ok).
YOKE RUN
Yoke Height Taken at Weight ins
60 SEC. - 50' COURSE LENGTH - Multiple Drops
Athlete will start with the Yoke on the floor and shoulders under the crossbar.
The Signal is given and the athlete must LIFT AND CARRY ENTIRE YOKE across the 50' mark.
No Sliding of the Yoke will be permitted , DQ from the Event if sliding is obvious of course it is on turf and you try you may get hurt.

CARRY FOR DISTANCE SAND BAG
60 second Time Limit
Turn at 80'
No Shouldering of Sand Bags - No Drops
Equipment Allowed : Belts -Grip Shirt - wrist wraps - knee sleeves- chalk
Not Allowed : Sand Bag Placed on Lifting Belt to created a shelf
