Early Weigh ins:
Friday - 10am-11am or 5-6pm
Saturday 9am-9:30am. Rules at 9:30am. Comp starts at 10am.
Spectators will be allowed. $10 admission fee for spectators. Kids 12 years old and younger are free. You can only buy tickets through the email you registered with on ironpodium.
Any event is subject to change at promoter's discretion
Awards:
Trophies awarded in each class for 1st-3rd.
If there are 2-5 athletes a class:
1st place - Nationals and Regionals (2025) invites
2nd - Regionals (2025)
3rd - Regionals (2025)
If there are 6+ athletes in a class:
1st - Nationals and Regionals (2025)
2nd - Nationals and Regionals (2025)
3rd - Regionals (2025)
4th - Regionals (2025)
Refunds: There are NO refunds or entry transfers.
Events:
1) Viking Press - The Viking press apparatus will be adjusted to the correct height for each competitor. Competitors will lift the Viking press to a full overhead lockout and must show control with their feet even and in front of the athlete's press line. The judge will give a “Down” command when a good rep has been achieved. The lifter must lower the implement to the shoulders before beginning the next rep. Once you set down the implement, your turn is done. Double dipping is allowed. 60 second time limit.
2) MB Powercenter Apex Deadlift for reps - No suits. Straps ok. No grip shirts. Competitors will complete as many MB Powercenter Apex deadlift reps as possible in one minute. Full lockout is needed for a good lift. Up and Down commands are needed from the judge. Intentional dropping of the implement will result in disqualification.
3) Throwbag over bar - 4 bag series, height and weight to be added after testing.
4) Farmer's Carry - 40 feet. 60 second time limit. No grip shirts.
5) Duck walk/sled drag medley - 40 feet down, turn, 40 feet back. 60 second time limit. No grip shirts. 60 second time limit.
