Early Weigh ins: 

Friday - 10am-11am or 5-6pm

Saturday 9am-9:30am. Rules at 9:30am. Comp starts at 10am. 

Spectators will be allowed. $10 admission fee for spectators. Kids 12 years old and younger are free. You can only buy tickets through the email you registered with on ironpodium. 

Any event is subject to change at promoter's discretion

Awards:
Trophies awarded in each class for 1st-3rd. 

Refunds: There are NO refunds or entry transfers. 

Amateur Nationals Qualifications

1 athlete in a class: The promoter may merge the class with another class. If the athlete competes alone, they will earn an invitation by completing (i.e., not “zeroing”) at least 4 of the 5 events to the standards originally set forth by the promoter.

• 1st place nationals invite

If there are 5-9 athletes in a weight class:

• 1st place nationals invite
• 2nd place nationals invite

if there are 10 or more athletes in a class

• 1st- nationals invite
• 2nd- nationals invite
• 3rd- Nationals invite

America's strongest Master's qualifications

• Top 3 in a master's class
• top 5 in an open division

Weigh-ins - weigh-ins are done in kilos. There will be no allowance for clothing; the least amount of clothing that can be worn will be underwear/ bra for the weigh-in.

Contest Tee Shirts MUST be worn for entire contest. NO grip shirts or shorts for entire contest. 

Event Descriptions 

1) Circus Dumbbell Clean and Press for reps. 60-second time limit. Must control each rep down to the ground. 10” db for women.  12” db for men. No grip shirts

2) Trap Bar Deadlift - 60-second time limit. No suits or briefs. Straps ok. Up and down commands. 

3) Sandbag/Keg Medley - sandbag first, carry 40 feet down, bear hug style. NO shouldering or walking backward. Drop and carry the keg 40 feet back to the start. 60-second time limit. weights will be announced after testing

4) Hercules Hold - hold for max time

5) Max Atlas stone over bar. 52” for men, 46” for women. 60-second time limit. Tacky ok. No grip shirts.

Make an attempt to get another. Miss any attempt and you are done.
