General Event Information:
Weigh-ins will be held June 6th from 3-6p and day of 7-8a.
Rules meeting will be held at 8:30 am.
Spectator fee $10, kids 12 and under are free.
Paying admission will enter you in a raffle for one of three $100 gift cards to 801 Chophouse.
Parking will be available at the gravel parking lots gym. Please do not park along the gym, those will be saved for members. Parking will be allowed in the grass field, but there will be a section blocked off for the keg event.
Tents will be provided, but it will not be enough to accommodate everybody in attendance so feel free to bring your own tent and keep it off the street. Water and sunscreen will be available.
If you sign up after open registration closes (May 10th), you may not get an event t-shirt.
Membership:
This is a United States Strongman sanctioned event. Each athlete is required to hold a United States Strongman membership.
Weight Classes:
Based on registration, weight classes/divisions may be expanded or combined.
Events:
NO TACKY OR ANY STICKY SUBSTANCES ALLOWED. NO SUITS/BRIEFS.
However, single/double/triple-ply knee and elbow sleeves are OK for the events.
Yoke height for event #1 must be determined at weigh-ins/before the competition begins.
EVENTS/WEIGHTS MAY CHANGE
Event #1: Yoke Race
60 second time limit. This is a head-to-head event. Athletes will be paired with an opponent from their class at random. At the start line, athletes will pick up the yoke and walk forward 40 feet until the front of the yoke crosses the line. Athletes will drop the yoke and turn around to bring it back 40 feet to the starting line with the front of the yoke crossing the line. If an athlete can’t finish the course, distance will be recorded. Excessive dragging is not allowed.

Event #2: Axle Clean and Press Away
60 second time limit. This is a head-to-head event. Athletes will be paired with an opponent from their class based on the current standings. Athletes will clean the axle from the ground (belt cleans are OK) from a standard 9 inch height and then press away from the front rack position for as many reps as possible. Athletes may return the axle to the ground and reset as many times as necessary. You will have your own judge who will be looking for feet parallel, knees and elbows locked, and head through before the ‘Down’ command will be given.
Dropping the weight from overhead may result in a ZERO for the event.

NO WRIST STRAPS
Event #3: Car Deadlift for Reps
60 second time limit. Side handles at approximately 12 inches from the ground. Car will be a compact car with weight added for different classes. Expect a weight equivalent of approximately 275 lbs for novice women and 405 lbs for novice men, and then it going up from there for the following classes. On the ‘go’ command athlete must deadlift the car for as many reps as possible in 60 seconds. Each rep must be completed with knees and hips locked with shoulders back and then wait for ‘Down’ command.

Event #4: Conan’s Wheel
No time limit. Athletes will pick up the Conan's wheel lever in front of them. Belt buckles must be on the backside of the athlete as no resting on belts is allowed. On the ‘Go’ command they will walk in a circle clockwise for as long as possible and once the implement touches the ground, the athlete is done, no exceptions.

Event #5: Keg Loading Medley
60 second time limit. Five kegs of different weights will be lined up 25 feet from the loading bar. Athlete will start with one hand on the loading bar and will then run to pick up and load the first keg. Athlete can load the kegs in any order and the best total will win. If there is a tie the best time will be awarded. Women’s loading bar height is 48 in, and Men’s loading bar height is 52 in.

Awards:
1st place winners of each Novice class, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place of all other classes will be invited to USS Nationals 2026.
Prize packs sponsored by Nordic Training Gear will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for all classes!
