Ensworth hasn't had much luck against Baylor recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will take on the Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Ensworth is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Tennessee's top teams: Christ Presbyterian Academy, who was ranked 13th at the time (Ensworth was ranked seventh). The Tigers came out on top against the Lions by a score of 28-21 last Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Baylor got themselves on the board against Ambassador Christian School on Friday, but Ambassador Christian School never followed suit. They breezed past the Lions to the tune of 46-0. The result was nothing new for the Red Raiders, who have now won four games by 27 points or more so far this season.

Baylor's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Ensworth, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Ensworth ended up a good deal behind Baylor in their previous matchup back in August of 2022, losing 35-17. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
