Event #1: Fire Extinguisher Press for Reps: This event is gonna be fun! The athlete will be required to clean and press a weighted fire extinguisher as many times as possible in 60 seconds. Time will begin after the athlete is strapped in to a weighted air pack. Athlete will need to gently tap the fire extinguisher to the ground between each rep. The judge will give the athlete a down command after the athlete has cleaned and pressed the implement overhead and completes the rep by fully extending the extinguisher, head is through, and hips are pushed through as well. If the athlete lowers the extinguisher before the down command is given, this will result in a NO rep. Athlete will then need to lower the extinguisher back to the ground to repeat the rep.
Allowed: TBD
Not Allowed: TBD
Event #2: Fire Tool Hold-Hold for time: Time will start when the athlete has the implement (halligan bar, axe, or sledge) gripped and held out in front of them with 2 hands. Athlete will be given 1 warning if judge feels that they are starting to bend their arms or lower the implement. After the 1st warning, the judge will call TIME when second infraction is noted. Athletes will be scored based on longest time held. This event will be capped at 2 minutes. Weighted chains MAY be added to tool based on weight class. This will be determined as we continue to test this event. Tiebreaker will be held at event coordinator discretion (more to come!)

Event #3: Fire Hose Carry Medley: Athletes will start by running a coiled pack of fire hose 50 feet and placing it on a titan wheelbarrow. The entire wheelbarrow must cross the line for judge to stop the clock. This event will be capped at 60 seconds and scores will be given based on fastest time. The dimension of the fire hose will depend on the weight class.
