You must have a USS membership PRIOR to weigh ins. 

Masters Single Class will be considered age 40-59. Masters 60+ will be age 60 & up.

Teen - Any athlete between 13 - 19. (Athletes under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian written consent.)

Events MAY be tweaked slightly as they are tested. 

Event 1: Fire Tool Hold- Like Firehouse Fury 1, but much harder since you guys and gals made it look WAYYYYY too easy! ;-) This time we will be doing this crucifix hold style. Weights listed are approximate and may be updated as we test the event. Athlete will only be given one warning as the arms start to lower and or bend at the elbows. Second occurrence will result in 'time' being called. 2 min time cap for this event. 

Event 2: Axle Deadlift- We will be using an axle bar and weights will consist of a possible combination of firehose and weight plates. Weights are approximate as we will be testing and seeing how the plates and hose fit on the axle bar. 

Event 3: Log Clean and Press- Titan Log. Athletes will have 60 seconds to clean and press as many reps as possible. Athlete will need to safely bring the implement to the ground for each rep. NO DROPPING! If you purposefully drop the log, you will be DQ for the event. I realize that accidents happen, but, we are pretty keen on telling the difference from accident and on purpose. ;-)

Event 4: Seated Stokes Pull- Athletes will have to rescue 'Freddie', put him in the stokes basket and then pull him to safety! Freddie will be a weighted mannequin with fire gear on. You can pick Freddie up any way you wish (front hold, fireman over the shoulder carry, drag him if you must!) get him into the wire stokes basket which will already be loaded onto a sled. Once loaded in to the stokes, you will be seated and use a rope to pull Freddie to safety. 

Event 5: Truck Push into Tire Flip- Athletes will be timed and will push the brush truck roughly 60 feet. Once given the "OK" on their distance, they will have to flip a large tire as many times as possible until time is called. Tire weights will vary based on the class you are signed up for. I do not have exact weights of the tires as of yet---however, expect that if you are in a heavier weight class you will have a heavier tire. 

***Additional fundraiser event: You will not HAVE to participate in this event, but you CAN if you want to. As part of our fundraising efforts, we will have our Rescue Truck (approximately 54,000 lbs of fun!) on site and participants will have the opportunity to pull this truck for as far as they can in 60 seconds. This will be a 50/50 opportunity. Participants will pay $10 to enter and the person with the farthest time, the fastest will win half of the pot! Who doesn't want a cool video of themself pulling a fire truck?!
