Weigh-Ins

Weigh-In Date: January 16, 2026
Weigh-In Location: Iron House (Minneola, FL)

407 Old Highway 50
Unit B
Minneloa, FL 34715

Weigh-In Times

AM session: 8:00 - 11:00am
PM session: 4:00 - 5:00pm

Novice, Teen, and Masters Divisions (Both Men & Women) are currently single open weight classes. Because of this, athletes in these divisions do not need to weigh in. All other divisions must complete a weigh-in (details will be provided closer to the competition date).

Note: If enough athletes register in any of the Novice, Teen, or Masters divisions, those classes may be split into weight categories. Should that happen, the event weights will not change—only the grouping of athletes will. If registration numbers remain low, the divisions will stay as open classes.

Event Lineup

Event 1 – Overhead Press Medley

Time Cap: 60 seconds
Athletes progress through three implements in sequence:

  • Wagon Wheel Axle Clean & Press – 1 rep
  • Sandbag Clean & Press – 1 rep
  • Slater True Log Clean & Press Away – 1 clean, then as many presses as possible from the front rack

Each of the first two implements earns 1 scored rep if completed successfully. After those, athletes move to the log and perform as many presses as possible without re-cleaning. Only one clean is required for the log. Each log press must be fully locked out with feet stationary, head through, and receive a down command from the judge.

Scoring:

  • 1 point for Wagon Wheel Axle
  • 1 point for Sandbag
  • 1 point per Log press
  • Total score = cumulative reps

Allowed:

  • Continental Cleans (on belly, not belt)
  • Belts
  • Elbow sleeves
  • Knee sleeves
  • Wrist wraps
  • Grip shirts
  • Chalk

Not Allowed:

  • Belt Cleans
  • Tacky
  • Suits or briefs
  • Built-up belts
  • Pressing blocks
  • Tree-topping or uncontrolled drops

Event 2 – Carry Medley

Time Cap: 60 seconds
This medley blends speed, brute strength, and composure under fatigue.

  • Yoke Carry – 50 feet down
  • Sandbag Carry – 50 feet back

Athletes will begin with the yoke at the start line and carry it 50 feet down to a designated line (front AND back of the yoke must pass the line before dropping). The sandbag will be staged near where the yoke is dropped. Athletes then transition directly into the sandbag carry back to the original start/finish line for the final 50 feet. Time ends when the sandbag lands on the designated platform by the start/finish line. The bag must be on the platform, or time will not stop until it is. Scoring is based on time or distance if incomplete. One drop is permitted within the first 3 feet of the yoke run. After the 3 foot grace period on the yoke, any further drops of either implement will be a stoppage and distance will be measured.

Allowed:

  • Belts
  • Knee sleeves
  • Elbow sleeves
  • Chalk
  • Grip shirts

Not Allowed:

  • Tacky
  • Suits or briefs
  • Built-up belts
  • Gloves
  • Sandbag shouldering

Event 3 – 13” Axle Bar Deadlift (Last Man Standing)

This event uses an axle bar elevated to 13 inches with wagon wheels. All athletes must take every jump — skipping weights is not allowed.

  • 30 seconds per attempt
  • Full lockout and controlled descent required
  • Heaviest successful lift wins
  • Tie-breaker: lighter bodyweight (taken from official weigh-ins)

Women: Weights will increase by 20lbs each round
Men: Weights will increase by 50lbs each round

Allowed:

  • Straps
  • Belts
  • Chalk
  • Flat shoes or deadlift slippers

Not Allowed:

  • Suits
  • Briefs
  • Built-up belts
  • Sumo stance

Event 4 – Saxon Bar Deadlift Max Reps

Time Cap: 60 seconds
Using a Saxon bar (rectangular 3”x3” grip surface), athletes perform max reps.

Reps must be locked out fully with hips through and shoulders back, and lowered under control. Athletes must wait for both the up and down commands. No bouncing or touch-and-go allowed.

Only chalk is permitted. No straps, suits, tacky, or grip aids of any kind are allowed. Reps that are incomplete, rushed, or not controlled will not be scored.

Allowed:

  • Chalk
  • Belts
  • Flat shoes

Not Allowed:

  • Straps
  • Tacky
  • Grip shirts
  • Suits or briefs
  • Liquid grip or grip tape

Event 5 – Atlas Stone to Shoulder Max Reps

Time Cap: 60 seconds
Athletes will perform max reps with a single atlas stone to shoulder. Between each rep, the stone must return to the floor.
Note: Tacky must be applied and removed at our designated stations presented by Will Development.
