The Gymdaddy Summer Strength Challenge will be returning to Kamikaze Iron for another fun filled day seeing some of the best strength athletes in the PNW compete in 5 tests of strength.  

Log Clean and Press Medley:

Athlete will have 60 seconds to clean and press the 1st log to lockout, wait for the judges command, and proceed to clean and press every rep on the 2nd log as many times as possible waiting for the judges "LIFT" and "DOWN" commands.  Belts, grip shirts, wraps, sleeves are ok.

Car Deadlift for Reps:

Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many reps with the apparatus as possible. Athlete must wait for the judges "LIFT" and "DOWN" commands each rep.  Suits, straps, are ok. 

Sandbag Throw for Max Distance:

Athlete will have 3 attempts to throw a sandbag overhead for max distance behind them.  Athlete will stand behind a line, and must not cross that line for throw to count.  The best of 3 throws will be counted

Yoke and Sled Drag Medley:

Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete a 30‘ run with the yoke down, drop the implement and then drag a sled back 30’.  Chalk, grip shirts allowed, NO TACKY

Stone over Bar for reps:

Athlete will have 60 seconds to complete as many repetitions with the stone over the bar.  Men will use a 52” bar women will use a 48” bar height.  Grip Shirts and Tacky allowed.

Early weigh ins will be Friday the day before from 5-7pm at the venue.

Day of Weigh ins will be from 7:30-8:30 am

Rules Meeting at 8:30am

Showtime is at 9am.

Our host hotel will be the La Quinta Inn and Suites located about 5 minutes from the venue mention you are there for the strongman contest and there will be an event discount.
