Strongman awesomeness returns to the Heroes, Hogs, and Hot Rods festival again this year!

This is a family-friendly event in downtown Manteno, IL (50 miles south of Chicago) that raises money for Project Headspace and Timing, an organization that helps veterans with mental health and resource awareness.

We’re bringing out some classic strongman fun for this one: Conan’s Wheel, Log, Farmer‘s Carry, and a Jeep Pull!

Bring your family and friends to cheer you on and enjoy a day of fun. Along with the lifting of the big heavy stuff, the festival also features:

Classic Car Show

A 0.5k run for underachievers

Beer tent

Food!

Amateur BBQ competition

Craft fair

Mental heath and veterans resource fair

Live music all day and night

Conan’s Wheel

We’re in the process of designing and building this one, we’ll post all the specifications when they’re available. Check Facebook and Instagram for any updates in the meantime. All weights listed for Conan's Wheel are tentative.

Log Clean and Press

All weights under 190 will be on a 10” diameter steel log, 190 and above will use a 12” log.  Clean the log once, then press away. 60 second time limit for reps.

Jeep Pull

When we get vehicle details, we’ll make final decisions on this event. It will most likely be an arm over arm pull.

Farmer’s Carry

50 foot course with a sixty second time limit. Chalk is fine, but no straps.

Weigh-ins will take place the day of the event, or early weigh-ins can be done at Steam Hollow Brewing in Manteno the day before (exact times to be announced).

H3 Strongman Challenge is a USS sanctioned event and will be one of the very first qualifiers for 2024 USS Nationals!
