Welcome to The First Annual Heavyweight Havoc Pro/Am Presented By Strength Shop. This Will Be a United States Strongman sanctioned event, a 2025 Nationals Qualifier, and a Pro Invitational Qualifier for 2025.
Spectators $10 per person at the door. Kids 6 and under are free. Only cell phone recording and photography will be allowed as there will be a professional photographer in attendance.
Registration Deadline: March 14th 2025 to be guaranteed a t-shirt and standard registration pricing. All registrants after that cannot be Guaranteed a Competition T Shirt. Early Bird Registration will be Open Until December 25th 2024. Remember to wait to purchase your USS Membership for 2025 until after January 1st.
Friday Weigh-ins will be 9am-12pm and 3 pm to 6pm on 4/11/2025 at Strength Shop USA, located at 208 N 4th St Richmond IN 47374. Saturday Weigh-ins will be available from 7am-9am on the Day of Competition at Family FitnessWorks
For each Pro Class to be Sanctioned:
There must be at least six competitors in the same class. If there are less than six, the class can still compete, however no pro invite or prize money will be awarded!
-OR-the athletes can move back into their normal class
Per Willie Wessels Directly: 6 athletes competing in a Pro class will result in one Invite being rewarded to the Pro International. 12 athletes competing in a Pro Class will receive 2 Invites, and If we have 18 athletes competing in a Pro Class then 3 invites will be given to the entire podium.
Any competitor that zeros an event will not receive Pro Invite.
All Pro Classes will have cash prizes For First, Second, and Third Place. Prize Pool will be Split Evenly With Miniman Amounts being

Prize Pool will grow as Sponsors and Registrations come in. Final Prize Pool will be announced at Athlete meeting the day of competition.
Events Are Ordered as Follows
Event #1: Max Axle Clean and Press.
On the 'Go' command the athlete will grip the axle, clean it from the floor, and press it overhead. Each athlete will get 3 attempts to find their max weight. The athlete does not get credited the rep until the 'down' command is given. To receive a down command, you must have the Axle locked out over head, head through with ears by your biceps (no arch back looking at the ceiling), and feet stabilized and not in a split stance (Shoulder width). Axle cannot rest on competitors head for any reason or no lift will be given. Notify Judges before attempt of any joint issues that may impede your lockout. This Event will be done in rounds not rising bar. After all classes have completed their first attempts bar will be reset and 2nd attempts will be done. Same for 3rd attempts.
Pro Classes will have unlimited attempts. After first 3 rounds are completed they may continue to call attempts until all are done.
1 minute to complete the lift
Equipment allowed: Chalk, liquid chalk wrist wraps, elbow sleeves/cuffs, elbow wraps, soft belt, hard belt, knee sleeves, Olympic lifting shoes
Equipment not allowed: sticky stuff, double knee or elbow sleeves (1 supportive item per joint)
Event #2: Timber Frame Carry
Athlete will start with hands on the frame handles. On the "Go" command athlete will lift and carry the timber frame Approx. 80 feet with a turn. Shirt and shoes Required. 2 drops allowed. Athletes will pick the frame, travel 40ft, drop, turn and repick the frame to travel back to the start finish line. Stay in your lane. Do not cross over into another’s lane. Front end of the frame must cross the drop/ repick line and the start finish line. Slide penalties will be assessed If you complete but slide during any of your 2 allowed drops. Pick Height will be 16 inches Drop Penalty will be 3 seconds for every drop.

Equipment Not Allowed: STRAPS of ANY KIND, Sticky Stuff, Suits, Briefs, double knee or elbow sleeves (1 supportive item per joint), Forklifts
Event #3: Seated Arm over arm Tractor Pull
Athlete will start with hands on rope seated inside pulling frame. On the "Go" command athlete will begin pulling the emplement towards them. Time will Stop once Front of emplement crosses finish line.
60 Seconds to complete the event.

Event #4: Timber Frame Deadlift
Athlete Will Start Standing inside the Frame with Hands off of implement. On the "Go" Command Athlete will strap in and begin Deadlifting. Up and Down Commands will be given. No Bouncing Touch and Go. All 4 corners of the frame must touch before given an Up command. Complete as many reps as possible in the given time limit. Pick Height will be 16 inches.
60 Second Time limit.

Event #5: Loading Medley
Athlete Will Start with Hands above but off of First implement. On the "Go" command Athlete pick their first smallest implement and run with it 20ft to loading platform. Once first Implement is loaded athlete will move run back and start line and pick their second implement. Second implement will be carried 20ft to platform and loaded. Athlete will then move to their third implement that will be placed directly in front of loading platform. Pick and load implement three and four in order to finish the medley Time will stop once all items are loaded. Items must be loaded in order. Keg, Sandbag, Keg Sandbag. Pro Men will Load The order of Keg, Sandbag, Sandbag, Sandbag Platform Heights will be updated soon.
75 Seconds to complete the event.
