Weigh Ins/Athlete Check In:

ALL ATHLETES must check-in on May 5th, including SHW Classes.

• Weigh in Time: 9AM-12PM then 3PM-6PM

Rules Meeting:

• May 6th at 9AM immediately before warmups.

Below are the events and rules:

Axle Clean and Press Away

Athletes will have 60 seconds to clean the axle bar up to rack position, then press away for reps in a 60 second time limit. You do not have to clean each rep, but the rep must come down to your chest each time. You can split jerk, push jerk, or push press as long as your feet are together and head is through when the weight is locked out. 

Athletes will be given a down command for each rep. You may re-clean it if you drop the weight and attempt again as long as it is within the 60 seconds. Belt cleans are allowed. ONLY USS OR UN-AFFILIATED GRIP SHIRTS ALLOWED

Max Deadlift

Athletes does not have to start a set weight. Weight jumps are 50 lbs for men and 25 lbs for women. Wessels Rules. Hitching is allowed. You have the full minute to attempt the weight. If you fail during the 60 seconds, you may re-attempt the weight within the time limit.

NO SUITS OR BRIEFS ALLOWED.

 STRAPS ALLOWED. FIGURE-8 STRAPS ALLOWED AS LONG AS FINGERS ARE IN CONTACT WITH THE BAR

Carry Medley (50 ft runs)

Farmers Carry/Sandbag Carry/Anchor Chain Drag will all be carried 50 ft moving in the same direction. All implements will start behind the starting line. Athlete will go in order of farmers carry, sandbag, then mystery implement. The implements must be all the way through the line to count. Unlimited drops on implements allowed. If athlete does not complete all three implements they will still receive points for the implements that were completed.

Crucifix Hold

Athletes will statically hold two evenly loaded mystery implements out to the side for time. The lift begins when you raise your arms out to the side holding the mystery implement with your arms parallel to the ground. Arms must be fully extended (No bend in the elbows). The judges will let you know when you break parallel and start the time- hold for as long as you can. Time will stop when arms or one arm falls below the plane parallel to the ground.

Stone Load Series

3 series stone load for time. Females load to a 44" platform and men to a 48" platform. 60 second time limit, athlete with the fastest time wins. Time ends once hands are off of the last loaded stone. Tacky allowed, grip shirts allowed.
