Weigh ins will be at The Iron Vault 1514 South Monroe Street on Friday.

Saturday  weigh ins will be at the Proof Brewing Company. 

Friday 8 a.m. - noon (at Iron Vault)

            4 p.m. - 7 p.m. (at Iron Vault)

Saturday 8 a.m. - 9 a.m.. (at Proof Brewing)

Axle Clean and Press

(Max Reps) 60 seconds. Athlete will start back from the axle and on the start command will clean and press the axle from ground to overhead for as many reps as possible. Control must be demonstrated when locked out and feet must be brought back to neutral if split jerking the axle. Bar must be returned to the ground after each rep. All grip shirts except strongman corporation allowed.

Frame Deadlift 

(Max Reps) 120 seconds.  Athlete will start strapped in on a modified car deadlift frame. After each successful lift a keg will be dropped into a basket on the implement and increase the weight by 50lbs. If the athlete reaches the max load they will then have the rest of the remaining time to complete as many reps as possible. 

Keg Carry 

(Max Distance) 60 seconds. Athlete will start back from the keg and on the start command pick and carry the keg for max distance. Drops are only allowed in the space after the 50' mark. A drop inside the marks will end your run and a distance will be taken. 

Sandbag to Shoulder

(Max Weight) 30 seconds. Athlete will pick bag from the ground and work it to one shoulder. Once bag is on shoulder, the opposite hand is removed, and control demonstrated the athlete will get a down command for a successful lift. This is a rising bar style event meaning athletes can jump in and out as they want but one failed attempt and you are out.

Truck Wheelbarrow Race

(Fastest Time) 60 seconds Athlete will carry and load 2 sandbags into the back of a pickup truck. Then the athlete will have to pick up the vehicle from the wheelbarrow handles and walk it down the 50' course. This will be a head to head event based on standings.
