Competition Check-In: Please make sure you check in by 9:00am the day of the competition. Everyone showing up by 9am will insure we are able to start on time at 10am.

All athletes need to weigh in.

Awards: Trophies for top 3 in each. 

Rules

Slater Log Clean & Press

• 60 second time limit to complete as many reps as possible
• Clean once and Press Away
• Log is to be pressed overhead with the elbow, shoulder and hips locked out with feet parallel. Demonstrate control before the judge gives a "Down" command
• Log must not be dropped from overhead position
• Because we will be using real logs your belt buckle must be worn in back or to the side
• Equipment Allowed; Belt (1 soft & 1 hard belt, max), wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, chalk, grip shirts (must be USS approved)
• Equipment Not Allowed; Tacky of any kind, any hard elbow support

Lever Ladder Deadlift

• Athlete will a 60 second time limit to lift and complete all the lever ladder deadlifts
• Implement will have several attachment points clearly denoted, as the athlete moves back to each subsequent point the leveraged weight in hand will increase
• Athletes will have one handle they will attach handle and un-attach the handle each time.
• Time stops once you are given the down command on the last rep
• Judge will give a "Down" command when the athlete is standing upright with their knees, hips and shoulders locked out
• Equipment Allowed; Belt (1 soft & 1 hard belt, max), wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, chalk, baby powder
• Equipment Not Allowed; Tacky of any kind, any hard knee support, baby oil, deadlift suits, deadlift briefs, wrist straps

Carry & Drag Medley

• Athletes have 60 second time limit
• A Keg, Sandbag, and Duck Walk will be lined up at the starting line, and the drag implement will be staged at the "finish" line. (The drag implement will either be a sled that the carry implements will be loaded into or something similar to an Anchor/Chain Drag depending on availability) Athletes are to pick and carry the carry implements to the "finish" line in the order they prefer. Then drag the final implement back across the course. Fastest time or furthest distance wins.
• Implements are to be placed upright at finish line
• Timer stops when the athlete crosses the "start" line with the drag implement
• Implements are to be carried to the front, no shouldering is allowed
• Equipment Allowed; Belt (1 soft & 1 hard belt, max), wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, chalk, grip shirts
• Equipment Not Allowed; Tacky of any kind

Mystery Event

• Because we had to reschedule to the middle of January we are replacing the Truck Pull we were going to have to a Mystery Event.
• Show up STRONG!

6-Stone Series

• Athletes have 60 second time limit to load all stones onto their respective platforms
• Stones will be lined in front of platforms from lightest to heaviest, on platforms going from highest to lowest
• Fastest time or most stones wins
• Equipment Allowed; Belt (1 soft & 1 hard belt, max), grip shirts, tacky

Cash Challenge

• We will have a cash challenge available to all athletes competing
• This will be some sort of classic feat of strength. We haven't finalized this one yet
