Weigh ins

All weigh-ins will be at Ironclad Performance, 87 Executive Drive Suite 2 Aurora IL 60504

Day before, Friday November 17th: 8:00-9:30am, 4:00-7:00pm

Day of, Saturday  November 18th: 8:00-9:00am

Rules

Equipment allowed - Chalk, 2 belts max (1 soft & 1 hard), elbow and knee sleeves, wrist wraps, grip shirts (no Strongman Corp or OSG logos), Squat briefs, warm pants (neoprene)

Equipment not allowed - Squat Suits, tacky of any kind, tacky towels

Axle Clean & Press

• 60 second time limit to complete as many reps as possible
• Athletes will be able to choose a light or heavy weight.
• Any repetitions with heavy weight will beat any repetitions with the light weight
• Athletes will clean and press each rep. Get as many repetitions as possible
• Axle is to be pressed overhead with the elbow, shoulder and hips locked out with feet parallel. Demonstrate control before the judge gives a "Down" command
• Bring Axle back down to mat in a relatively controlled manner
• Equipment Allowed; 2 Belts (1 soft & 1 hard belt, max), wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, knee sleeves, chalk, grip shirts
• Equipment Not Allowed; Tacky of any kind, any hard elbow support
• Respect the equipment and respect the venue

Car Squat

• Athletes will have 60 seconds to get as many reps as possible
• Judge will give a verbal and visual "Down" command once the judges determines a locked out squat
• A good lift is when the athlete's knees and hips are locked out and demonstrates control at lockout after bringing the frame to the full “down” position on the ground
• Height of the bar will be determined before the start of lifting, athletes’ thigh will be parallel to the ground when the implement is down

Max Height Sandbag Toss

• Athletes will have 20 seconds to throw the sandbag over the bar
• Height of the bar to clear will start at around 12' high (final details will be listed once testing is done) and rise 6" per throw
• Athlete will jump in at the heights they want to throw over. Bar height will be set and whoever wants to throw at that will will throw
• Wessels rules apply, athletes have 3 attempts, bar will not be lowered if selected height is not achieved. If an athlete misses a height they will not get subsequent attempts

Mystery Event

• Show up Strong
• Have fun
• Be prepared for a little creativity

Sandbag, Keg, & Stone Load

• 60 second time limit to load as many repetitions over bar as possible
• The 3 implements will be set up 10' away from the bar
• Athlete will carry then load each implement in order over the bar (Sandbag, Keg, Stone) and continue with as many repetitions with the stone as possible
• Women will have a 46" height and Men will have a 52" height
• No tacky of any kind or tacky towels will be allowed
